Julies POV

Tommy almost swallowed his food whole. He might as well have anyway. I picked at my food while he watched me intensely, smirking at me if I ever caught his eye. He was finished well before I was and I sat watching as he ran around he room frantically packing things into the bag. Some of the clothes from before had remade there way to the floor. Never in my few years of knowing Tommy have I seen him clean or work like this.

Finishing my food the best I could I naturally stacked the plates on top of each other neatly on the tray and left the on the table. Tommy was finished packing the bag and was putting on a jacket. I got up from my seat and picked up Hunter. I wrapped the cardigan around his head tighter but I could still see his face. Trying not to cry I closed his eyes and stroked the side of his face.

I could still hear his laughing slightly. His chubby fingers playing with my hair only a few hours ago...

Cradling him softly I looked up at Tommy.

"Ready?" He asked coming over and wiping tears from my face. I hadn't noticed they were there.

I nodded in reply and shivered as he slipped an arm around my waist and pulled me closer.

"You'll be such a good girl...one day. Until then you have to learn. Understand?"

Nodding agin I refused to look at him. He grabbed my chin and faced me.

"Say it!"

"I understand. I will be a good girl."

"I know you will," he replied kissing me hard. I didn't kiss back but he didn't seem to noticed.

Throwing the back pack over his shoulder he slipped an arm around my waist and lead me out the room. I waited as he locked the door. There was another couple coming down the corridor towards us. I smiled at them but Tommy jabbed me in the ribs so I looked away. We waited until they had passed before heading down our selves. Neither seemed to acknowledge us.

The grip on my waist was firm as I was lead down stairs and towards the reception.

"Give me Hunter back." Tommy muttered in my ear.

"No!"

"Julie! Don't argue back with me. Give the key back to the reception then you can have him back." Tommy snapped, attempting to take Hunter. I clung on tightly.

He raised an eyebrow at me. I knew I should let go but I couldn't. His hand squeezed my wrist causing me to wince in pain.

"Julie...let go!" Whispering in my ear Tommy tried to take him again, this time I let go. Handing me the key he turned me around and pushed me towards the desk.

I chatted briefly to the receptionist before handing the key over. It was the same guy from the night before but he didn't seem to recognize me. Then he looked at my face.

"What happened to your face?" He grunted.

I hadn't thought that I might have a bruise or two on my body.

"I got into...Err a fight with a friend of mine..." I looked away and handed him the key.

"Huh. You might want to put ice on that..." he took the key and turned away.

I speed walked back to Tommy who was waiting outside. The sun had only just come up and no one was to be seen besides us. I reached it my arms for Hunter but Tommy pulled away.

"What were you talking about?" Tommy glared at me.

"What do you mean?"

"I could hear him asking you what happened to your face! What did you say?"
