Tommy walked us through the back of the apartment block and into the staff car park. The first thing I noticed was that he was still using the same blue van. It was all over the news after Carrie had given a very clear description of it. Surely somebody would recognize it? How couldn't they!

Tommy put his hand on my shoulder and lead me to the van, making sure I couldn't run. Even if I tried he still had hold of Hunter and with my leg I wouldn't get very far. He lead me round to the passenger side and opened the door.

"Get in." He ordered.

I obeyed and clicked in my belt. His eyes never left me. When I was strapped in I held my arms out for Hunter. Tommy rolled his eyes and reluctantly handed him over. Slamming the door he hobbled round the front of the van and got into the drivers seat.

"I don't know why you like it so much..." Tommy muttered casting a look at Hunter.

"He's a baby, there cute." I replied as the van started to move.

Tommy huffed in reply and focused on the road. The radio was playing a song I didn't recognize, but it sounded old. The van had just exited town and was now making it's way down the highway. I flinched as Tommy put a hand on my thigh and ran his hand up and down it.

"Ours will be better." Tommy smiled at his thought glancing at me.

I strained a smile back and answered sweetly, "Yeah they really will be!"

Tommy gave my thigh a final pat and put his hand back on the wheel. My stomach lurched as he let go off my leg. Knowing the only way to keep my baby safe was to be nice to Tommy, I had to put up with his hands touching me. No matter how much it made me want to throw up.

I sat back in my seat holding Hunter tightly. I didn't know how long I would have to be nice to Tommy. Silently I prayed someone would see us before Tommy took things to the next level...

It was now 10:36 PM and we were still driving. Hunter fell asleep after I fed him to stop him crying and I was only just fighting off sleep. Tommy was the same. Every now and then his eyes would get heavy and he would pinch his hand to keep him self awake. Bracing my self I put a hand on Tommy's knee and used my thumb to stroke it gently. He looked at me in surprise.

"Tommy we should find somewhere to stop. We've been driving all day and both of us are tired..." I smiled softly.

Tommy grinned back and held my hand.

"Yeah I suppose you're right. The next Motel we come across we'll stop there for a night or two. Then I'll find us our forever home to have our sons. Where no one can disturb us." Tommy squeezed my hand.

I smiled and turned to face out the window. Forever... That was a long time. I didn't know how I would survive less than a month with Tommy. Let alone forever. Watching the road I saw a Motel coming up ahead. Sadly it went by and Tommy carried on  driving. He drove for another half a mile before turning onto a dirt track. After he had drove into some bushes concealing the van he stopped the engine.

"Get up Julie!" He ordered grabbing his stick and getting out the van. The lack of sleep meant he was in a bad mood. I was going to have to be extra careful about what I did. Holding onto a sleeping Hunter I opened the door and got out the van.

It was cold and the harsh breeze cause me to shiver. Tommy was at the back of the van messing around with something. When he appeared he was holding some rope and a torch. A large backpack was on his back and a gun was slipped in the inside of his jacket. He used two fingers to motion me over. I obeyed and stood in front of him.

"We're almost there Jules. You'll be happier with me!" Tommy smirked and crushed his lips against mine.

My body froze until he was finished. Wrapping an arm around my waist he flick on the torch and we headed back the way we came. The entire time Tommy didn't let go of me and kept glancing and smirking my way. I ignored him and kept a tight hold of Hunter to keep him warm. Luckily he was still in his fluffy pajamas so he shouldn't be too bad.

When the dirt road ended we turned and went down the normal road to the Motel I had seen earlier. My leg was on fire and the more I walked the more it hurt. I could tell that Tommy's leg was bothering him too because he kept limping.

The walk was long and tiresome. By the time we reached the Motel an hour had passed and both me and Tommy were in agonizing pain. We had to stop twice just to be able to carry on. The Motel it's self wasn't in the best condition but it would have to do. At this point I didn't really care as long as it wasn't infested with bugs.

"Give me Hunter." Tommy yawned and held out his arms.

"Why?" I asked not letting go.

Tommy rolled his eyes.

"It'll look suspicious otherwise! Plus I don't want to get recognized so your going to get us a room Julie." fumbling around in his pocket he handed me some notes and too Hunter from me.

We enter the reception area and Tommy stayed by the door while I went to the desk. The only person other than us was a fat greasy man on the other side of the desk. He was tapping away at the computer, stuffing fries into his mouth when I approached. Instead of looking at me properly as I hoped he would he just handed me a key and took enough money for two nights.

The man pointed towards a flight of stair and said the key had our room number on it then continued to ignore me. Tommy came behind me quickly and pulled me up the stairs. When we had found our room number he pushed Hunter into my arms and took the key from me. As soon as the door opened Tommy pushed me into the room and locked the door behind him.

It was going to be a long night...
