Tommy's POV

Gabe smirked at me and twirled a piece of Lindsay's hair around his finger as I sat across from them with Jules sitting on my lap. I rubbed my thumb on her side and smiled at Gabe before reaching for the tray of cookies, handing one to Julie and one for my self. Sweetness exploded throughout my mouth as I bit into my cookie but my mouth had become dry and made it difficult to swallow the treat.

"So what brings you here?" I asked curiously with a small smirk.

I took a chance to observe which of the the family was here, Jared was sat on the porch behind Lindsay watching Kyle with a glare who was being held and cooed at by Lindsay. Taylor was slouching back in a chair in between me and Gabe smiling as Lindsay was thrown up on by Kyle.

"Taylor sent us a letter a few weeks back asking us to come down. He notified us a while back that you were here and what had happened to poor Jimmy and Hunter, may they rest in peace. We thought it would be a nice surprise and I would finally get the chance to see my grandson. How are you doing as well Juliet?" Gabe's gazed went to Jules when he asked her this. 

She nodded and smiled saying that she was doing well and that she was happy to see them all after such a long time. I squeezed her side gently as a sign of approval and finished eating the last of my cookie. 

"It must've been hard for you. First you loose Jimmy, then your little one and then what happened to you and Emme bless ya." Lindsay gave her a sympathetic look as she cleaned the sick off her shirt. 

"Yeah it was a little bit..." Julie quietened and gripped onto my hand and gave it a squeeze fro reassurance. I squeezed back but kept my ears open to the conversation that Taylor was having with his dad. I knew something was off about them being here. I liked to see my family don't get me wrong but after Taylor's constant questions something just wasn't right about them being here.

"Anyway I've managed to get a bit more work done with Tommy being here to help with the farm an all. Even managed to fill the fridge with some more meat a while back." Taylor told his dad about the recent events of when the lost teens came over and there was the whole argument between them.

"Even Juliet helped!" Taylor added brightly. Gabe's face dropped into shock and turned to me and Julie with a grin. I kissed her cheek softly as she tensed.

"My, my. I always wondered if the day would come. When I first met you Julie and you were Jimmy's wife I thought you would be OK with seeing a killing as you settled in quite quickly. And then little Jared here found them two wanders and you freaked out when you had to cut that man's throat, and then his face. I must say I am proud of this little achievement of your's. Maybe we could even see the work that Jimmy put in if we find anymore wanders while we are here?" Gabe smiled sweetly and turned to take Kyle off Lindsay.

It was my turn to tense now. I could tell that Gabe was testing me, trying to antagonize me even with this constant mention of Jimmy. Even in death he's a pain in the backside. I nodded and agreed that Jules would happily help and she nodded too. 

"Julie's pregnant!" Jared shouted out of nowhere. I turned in surprise to see him standing next to Taylor with a wide smile on his face.

"Did I not tell you guys that Julie was pregnant in the last letter? Oh wait we only found out the day before last." Taylor smirked at me.

"Oh Juliet! Congratulations!" Lindsay clapped her hands and got up from her seat to hug Julie. 

"Well it looks like it's baby season. First little Kyle, then Lindsay and now Juliet." Gabe joked.

I took a proper look at Lindsay and noticed the slight bump that was showing in her loose fitting T-Shirt. She didn't look like she was far behind giving birth herself and I congratulated them on their new addition.

"How far along are you mum?" Taylor asked trying to push away a nagging Jared.

"A few months. About seven or eight we think. I bet you're glad to have Julie here to help around with Kyle. I know you were defiantly a handful when you were born Tay." Lindsay laughed and sat back down next to Gabe who rubbed her belly and smiled. 

"It must be exciting to have another on the way." Julie asked sweetly. 

"Yes it is. So Juliet, do you know who the father is?" Gabe gave me a curious look but quickly turned back to Julie.

"Dad, drop it." Taylor started but Gabe put up his hand to silence him.

"What do you mean?" I questioned trying to hold back the anger in my voice.

"Well I presume her and Jimmy made love as some would say not long before he died. And Jimmy died what about two or three months ago? You and Julie haven't been well together as you say for very long so it might be possible it's not your child...correct?" Gabe raised an eyebrow at me and then glanced back to Julie who had gone pale and quiet.

"It's mine and Tommy's baby." Julie replied quietly.

"Are you sure about that?" Gabe questioned.

"Yes, I am sure." 

"Well we shall see how long it takes for you to give birth and then we can decide. Can't we Tommy." Gabe smirked at me.

I smiled and turned to Julie.

"Jules can you go inside and up to our room for me. I'll be there in a second." I said into Julies ear and pushed her off me, watching her go inside.

"If you would excuse me i just need to make sure my wife and my baby are doing OK." I smiled before heading inside myself.
