Emme's POV

We had spent three weeks planning this night. Me and Julie had both tried our hardest to never get into trouble so that the boys would finally trust us. Julie has found it a lot harder because Tommy seems to be testing her. Constantly mentioning Jimmy and Hunter to see her response or touching her or gripping her wrists hard for a reaction. Thankfully shes been strong and held back the tears for when we were alone cleaning.

Hunters body was buried a few days after they arrived here. Julie tried her best but like any mother she couldn't hold back tears as Tommy threw the body into a shallow grave. The disrespect he had for his dead nephew was unbelievable, but Julie had told me about how much he had always hated Jimmy and Hunter and that he almost pushed her down the stairs while she was pregnant to kill him. But soon we wouldn't have to worry about them, because tonight we would be free...

Taylor was fast asleep next to me, back turned to me so he was facing the wall. Slowly I crawled out of the bed and placed my bare feet on the cold floor. I picked up a hoodie and some jogging bottoms from the floor and put them on. It was highly likely to be cold at this time of year, especially at night. Neither me or Julie were sure what month it was but we thought it was early Autumn as the trees seemed to be loosing more leaves by the day. When I was dressed I headed out of my room slowly so the floor wouldn't creak and wake Taylor, in the hall Julie was fiddling with the ends of her hoodie waiting for me.

"You ready?" I asked as I approached her.

She nodded in reply and glanced at my bump. For weeks now she had been worrying about if I'd be able to make it to a main road but i had done my best to convince her I would be OK. Holding out my hand she grabbed it and as quiet as we could we crept down the hall and stairs. My legs were shaking with anticipation and fear. Taylor and Tommy could wake up at any moment and catch us trying to escape. Even if we told them we were just getting a drink of water they wouldn't believe us. It's too obvious since there is two of us.

The house was cold and silent. Nothing could be heard apart from out feet moving slowly across the hard wood floor. Julie's breathing was rapid and heavy. Putting a hand on her shoulder she jumped in surprise, probably assuming it was one of the boys coming to stop us.

"Emme...where's the key?" Julie whispered eyes wide in the dark room.

"Follow me." I lead her by the hand out of the hallway into the kitchen. "About a year ago when I was first pregnant and I thought I was in love with Taylor I was cleaning the tiles where they do the killings. I found this one was loose..."

Getting down to my knees I carefully moved a tile to reveal a hidden key. Julies face lit up with what seemed to be hope, or happiness of getting away from these monsters. She hadn't really spoken about what she planned to do when we got away from here but I knew that I was going straight to the police so that all the other women in the horrid family could be helped and no other girls had to go through the same torture as us.

The key I had discovered was for the back door so we didn't have to go back across the house to the front door. Sliding the key into the lock I turned it until I heard the satisfying click of freedom. Juliet took the key from me and put it back in the hiding hole just in case something went wrong, we couldn't have anyone knowing we knew about it. As the tile was being replaced I started to turn the door knob when a hand pulled me away. I almost screamed out but stopped my self when Julie put a hand over my mouth.

"Be quiet..." Julie mouthed to me and looked at the door.

Outside it sounded like someone was talking. Or some people. Who ever they were, they laughed and came up the steps of the porch. A shadow crossed over the window and blocked out the moon light. The face of a man I didn't recognize was looking through the window trying to see into the dark kitchen. Julie held me tight as we stood silently in the corner of the kitchen. My heart raced as his eyes layed on us.

"What do we do?" Julie whispered in my ear. the man was talking to someone and pointing into the window. A muffled knock came on the door and the strangers face dissapered.

"We get help." I whispered back and went to open the door. Julie gripped my wrist.

"Are you crazy!"

"What do you mean? You want to escape don't you? They could help us!" I said back trying to free my wrist.

"They could be killers!"

"Well at least it's no different from this family then. Are you coming or not?" I finally shook my wrist free and opened the door.

There stood three tall men I didn't recognize. One was shorter than the others but had long ash blonde hair, the guy closest to the door had a dark buzz cut and a small scar under his eye. The one we saw through the window leaned against the wall, he had a small pony tail and blonde hair like the smaller guy.

"Well, well, well... What do we have here?" The one from the window laughed to his friends. He peered round me and winked at Julie who was stood about a meter behind me.

"Who are you?" Julie asked.

"I think the question is my dear, what are two lovely ladies like you doing in a place like this?" Scar face asked raising an eyebrow.

"Please! You have to help us! We're trying to escape from our kidnappers...can you please get us out of here?" I pleaded grabbing hold of Scar Faces jacket.

"I asked for your names." Was his only reply.

"I'm Emme and this is Julie... Can you please keep your voice down... They'll kill us if we wake them up and they see us running away."

He laughed softly, "What do you think Scottie? You like her?" He turned to the one with the long hair who smirked and nodded.

"I think we should Maxi. Well on certain conditions of course..." The window guy said.

I turned to Maxi still gripping his jacket. Julies hand was on my shoulder. Her face full of concern and suspicion.

"Sure why not. Ladies." He stepped out the way of the door to let us past. I hugged him excitedly and he stumbled back a bit in shock.

"Are you pregnant or summint?" He asked me and I nodded. "How far along?" he asked another question and I shrugged.

"Get off me!" I heard Julie say.

Turning around in panic I saw the window guy with his arms around her waist trying to kiss her. She tried to struggle away and he slapped her.

"Julie!"

"I said kiss me you stupid bitch! What part of conditions for us helping you didn't understand?" He snapped and pulled her hair.

Maxi held me back while I tried to run to her.

"I say you have your fun now Will and then we do whatever we do, then the wolves can have em." Scottie laughed at Julie continuing to struggle.

"Please we'll do whatever you want...Just let us go far away from here first!" I pleaded but Maxi covered my mouth with his hand and pointed a knife at my throat with the other.

"Oh we know you will...don't worry sweetie cause where you're going...you'll never have to worry about anyone ever again." He sniffed my neck and moaned.

"Hey Scottie. Ever dissected a pregnant woman before?" Will laughed pushing Julie on the grass.

I kept quite and prayed they wouldn't kill me or Julie when the unthinkable happened. Julie one minute was on the grass being held down by this Will the next she was running into the house screaming at the top of her lungs.

"Tommy! Taylor! Help! Help us! Tommy!"
