35. Fun, Fear, And Fake

Berry’s message was a question. She asked what Racine is doing. He replied. Another text message was received. She asked who he was with. He replied. He continuously received a text message after another one. She asked if it was still flooding in school, what time he will go home, where he is now, what he is going to do when he gets home, etc. Talk about surveillance. Later on, the rain somehow stopped. We went on our separate ways.

Thursday.

I went outside the classroom of the Section Honesty students during a break time. I needed to return Warden’s notebook. I was surprised to see Maddie confronting Ailma. They were surrounded by some students. I wondered why a battle occurred in a room where they didn’t belong. I heard that Ailma didn’t return something to Maddie. Some rumors were true about Ailma? Ailma couldn’t give anything. Maddie went back to our classroom grumbling and berserk. I knew she was a Comedienne so I cracked a joke while we were in the classroom. She became angrier and she slapped me. It was painful. No, not the slap. At that time I had a mouth ulcer. It was hit. (pain pain) Be careful with telling jokes, some of them are not funny. Some of it might end up getting others hurt. I was a little afraid at Maddie. She shifted her personality.

Clubbing.

It was also the day to choose which clubs high school students can join. I joined the Science Club because I like experiments minus the calculation of equations, memorizing names of contributors, and other things.

I came across Gern. She showed her fake smile. What’s up with that? She started the first meeting ever. She was the president of the club last year. (surprise surprise) I assumed she won because of her fakeness. She introduced what the club was all about. Before she could finish the orientation, I went out. I decided not to join any clubs. I encountered her after her meeting. Oh no! I didn’t want to talk to her but she came to me and she asked…
