Purple Child

Panic!

As Keith left to follow the small track of footprints Shiro headed the other way to where the injured person might be. The tunnel was dark like it was part of a nightmare. All Shiro could hear were his own footsteps as he continued to walk, suddenly he heard a loud coughing, he stopped.

"Hello, my name is Shiro and I am a paladin of Voltron we have come here after receiving your distress signal." Shiro shouted calmy and waited for a response.

"Please *coughs* help!" Shiro heard the plead for help and came rushing following the voice and coughs to the injured man's side.

"Hey, hang in there, we have a healing pod that can fix you up right away." Shiro said to the man, but he only shook his head and put his hand in Shiro's hand.

"No please there is no more time for me *coughs* just get my kid out and home to his mom and send this to Elventis Cultrov it holds valuable information my team needs...and keep my son hidden." he coughs terribly for a while and his breathing becomes very heavy.

"Alright I and my team will complete your mission so you can rest easy now," Shiro promised the man. "What is your name sir."

"My name is Alvark of Telio, thank you, Shiro." He peacefully closes his eyes and his breathing stops, his grip loosens and drops a small flat rectangular metal plate in his hand. Shiro looks away saddened that he couldn't help the man, he tightens his normal hand that had the plate is in and punches the wall with his metallic hand and tears slightly pinch out of the corner of his eyes. He then is interrupted by a communication from Pidge.

'Hello, Shiro come in.' Pidge said in a frantic voice.

Shiro then took a deep breath and spoke: "yes Pidge, what's the matter did you find someone else?"

'No but we got the distressing video that was sent from here and turns out that there are creatures that still live here,' Pidge is then interrupted by hunk.

'Yea it's like a large lizard thing. See I told you all that I saw something but did any of you listen noooo.

'Alright Hunk, we get it. Anyway we need to leave immediately but we have a problem,' an alarm sound starts to come from Pidge's side of the communication, 'never mind now it's two problems, the planet is now starting to collapse and Lance is missing!'

Hunk looks around the room and finds the opening that lance entered "Pidge I think I know where Lance went, he left through this cave opening."

"Shiro what should we do?" Pidge asked panicked about the situation.

"Hunk said Lance entered a cave right?" Asked Shiro.

"Yes!" Pidge answered.

"Then I'm going to send a message to Keith to look for Lance and leave. You two evacuate to the black lion." Shiro commanded "and I found one of the people who was stranded." He said with a heavy heart.

"Okay, so our mission is done?" Pidge questioned.

"No there is one more stranded here, Keith was following their tracks so they should be found soon." He stated. "Okay team, let's start evacuating this planet!"

Keith had been walking for a couple minutes through the long tunnel. Some parts he entered were large caverns that were abandoned mining areas with tools while others areas were so small that he could barely fit through. He continued to follow the footprints but paused as he felt like something was near. "Shiro?" He asked as he ready his blade for a fight.

As Keith turned around the large creature had lunged at him, but he dodged it quickly and escaped its grasp but his bayard was knocked out of his hand. The creature was a Large lizard that was all black with green glowing eyes, large sharp claws, and a gigantic mouth with very sharp teeth. It kept lunging towards him, every move he blocks trying to get closer to his weapon to protect himself. He kicked the creature back and grabbed his bayard, but as he walked back to get more running room to charge at the creature he fell back into one of the mining areas.

He looked around for an exit and once he spotted one he sprinted towards it while the creature lurked into the room looking for its prey. Luckily for Keith, the footprints had lead this way. As he came closer to the exit the creature had lunged at him grabbing Keith by his legs and knocking him down. The creature preyed on top of him ready to eat his head. Keith had caught its jaws before it could clamp down. He then heard a yell in the distance, it was Lance. Keith immediately kicked the creature back he had to hurry to save Lance. He readies his weapon and was ready to fight.

Lance had pulled his arm back as a reflex then tripped over his feet crashing his back to the wall and whacking his head. "Ouch, quiznack." He said as he rubbed the back of his head then a giggle came through the hole and a little purple child with blue eyes popped his head out and smiled.

"What, your not a monster?" He said to the child as he got up and closer, the child cutely growled at Lance playfully. He then returned back into the hole when Lance got too close. "Hey, wait! I'm here to help you get home." Lance said. "So can you come out?"

The child looked at lance for a while and then started to climb out of the hole. He stood in front of Lance. The kid looked to be around 8 years old, he wore a black shirt, with dirty and ripped brown shorts, as well as a maroon colored vest. He had no shoes on and was all dirty, his hair looked similar to Keith except shorter, he had purple fur and dog-like ears. Lance wondered if he was part Galra, the only difference was his eyes were completely blue not yellow.

The kid then raised his arms and jumped up a little, "oh you want me to carry you?" It nodded its head. "Alright then, up we go to the sky!" Lance playfully said as he picked up the child, it tightly held on to Lance and hugged him, he slightly trembled. 'He's scared,' Lance thought to himself. The kid then loosened his grip and pointed at the tunnel ahead, "is that the way out?" He asked they nodded their head and Lance started to head into that direction.

More klance will be coming, sorry if there hasn't been enough I'm going to focus on those two a little more now so enjoy! O~O
