Fallen for a Vampire!

1. Will you be my friend?

Layla was on her way to her house, when suddenly she got kidnapped by a boy. He didn't took her far away but just to the next street.

"Are you fuckin crazy?? How could you kidnap me and where am I and who are you?" Layla was really very angry. 

"Oh gosh! Calm down young lady.. Its me!!" He took his cloth off his face.

"Oh! Laurent! I didn't expected this from you! Why did you do this to me??" Layla's voice had a calm tone now. She wasn't afraid anymore, cause she knew who the kidnapper was.

"Layla, I am really very sorry..I had to do this to you or else I might have got killed!" Laurent said in a freaked out tone. He knew that whatever he said, was a big fat lie. But the way he acted it out, it seemed quite realistic to Layla. She got worried and asked..

"Oh no! What happened? Who wants to kill you? I will help you.." She said to calm him. But instead of cracking up, he hugged her. Really tight.

"Umm.. Laurent... are you.. ok?" she asked while trying to get out of his arms. But she suddenly stopped and hugged him back, it was weird for her to hug him. But she thought how relaxing it was to hug him.. She wanted to stay like this forever.. She had never had friends who want her, or who want to hug her. Laurent was the first one. She was really happy. But before she could finish enjoying being in his arms, he pulled away.

"Umm.. I-I am sorry.. I got a bit carried away.. I actually wanted to talk to you.." Laurent said uncomfortably. He had never got this type of feeling after hugging a girl, so this was quite weird for him..

"You know.. I wondered if.. we can be... friends.. like just friends... if you don't mind.." He said awkwardly. He said everything pretty quickly, before anybody can interrupt him again.

"Was this all for that?? I thought you were getting murdered as you said and all that shit!.. I can't believe it!" She said in a 'are you kidding me' tone. She was annoyed cause he lied, and the lie was not even normal.

"I am really sorry.. I didn't knew how to make you hug me... or say yes to be friends... Please don't deny..  I really want to be friends with you.. Don't break my heart and hope..." He pleaded. That was so not him. He would rather demand than pleading. 

But Layla felt sorry for him, so she said..

"I will be friends with you but.. on one condition..." Her happy smile turned into a serious face .. 

"A-A condition?.. What is it?.." He said having a puzzled look on his face.

"Umm.. my condition is.. you have to.. be just friends.. and you will never go around, telling people that we are dating.. if that happens I swear to god.. I will break you in half!" Her voice went low to high. She just wanted to warn him, before anything happens.

"Umm.. ok.. I will never do that.. I promise.." He slowly smiles. 

"Thanks.. but I better go now.. mom's waiting.. bye" She said that and left.

*Thank you fo being my friend..* He thought and left.

 He got into his car and sat there wondering about the hug that they shared.. He smiled and drove back home. 

And at the other side.. Layla was happy because she got a friend.. someone who is so friendly and understanding.. 

She reached her house after 10 minutes...

"Hey girl, how are you?" Her mom, Leona asked her. She was making Oreo pies. 

"I'm really happy, mom!.. Mmmm.. smells delicious!" Layla said in a starving way..

"I am making your favourite Oreo pies.. but you didn't tell me, why you are very happy.." She said in a happy, questioning way. 

"Mom! you wouldn't believe what happened today! I made a friend!!" She was soo proud of herself because people used to say that she had attitude problems, that's why people didn't liked being her friend.

"OH MY GOD!! I am super proud of you, baby. Who is your new friend??" Leona asked, being over excited.

"Mum.. He is a boy named Laurent.. and he is very handsome.. you know the best thing! Our friendship started with a hug. It was so relaxing when I hugged him... There was a sudden connection between us.." Layla told everything to her mom and she was very happy. 

"So.. when are you bringing him home??" Her mom asked in a happy way. She was so happy that, Layla finally has a friend. And, it's a boy..    

"I don't know, but i will ask him to come home. Anytime soon.. " she smiled and went to her room. She was really happy. She went on her social media and she saw their were so many messages from, Laurent.

*How did he find me on instagram?? I didn't told him my name on it..* She wondered that. But when she saw the messages, she seriously wanted to meet him. Right now. So, she decided to call him. 

*Ringg-ring* The phone's ringing..

"Hello, Laurent Knight speaking. Who are you?" Laurent said in a firm voice. He hates getting calls from unknown numbers. They are useless most of the time.

"Umm.. Hey Laurent.. it's me.. Layla.." She said really slowly.

"Oh! Hey Layla..I am really sorry to be mean!.. I am surprised you called me.. Are you ok?" He asked concernly.

"Umm.. I am sorry, but can we please meet?? I really need to talk to you.. I can't say it over phone.." Layla said sounding very worried..  

"Oh god! I hope everything's fine.. Let's meet at the Northern beach.. I will quickly change and get there.. Don't worry! Everything will be fine.." He said while calming her down. 

"Thank you so much! I am so lucky to have you as my friend! I will get there soon.. Bye" Layla was very happy, to have him.
