9. He loves me!!

Layla was in an observation room, when she opened her eyes.. She was confused. Suddenly a familiar face arrived and took her temperature..

"You look better, Layla.. You might be healing.." She smiled at her.. But she still had no idea who she was..

"What am I doing here? And who are you?" Layla slowly asked.

"You were unconscious and your BFF was worried, so he got you here.. And I am your family doctor, Dr. Lee.." She said politely..

"Oh ok.. but am I fine?" She asked.

"Yes girl.. You are absolutely fine.. No need to worry!" Jennifer said, with a smile on her face..

"Oh, thank god!" She said happily..

The Doctor laughed and said..

"But, anyway.. your Bff was very worried.. I even saw him crying.. You might be really lucky to have him.." She said nicely..

"Oh.. Can you please send him in.. I want to meet him.." Layla pleased..

"Sure girl.. But don't talk too much as you might faint again, because you are still a bit weak.." She told her and left to get Laurent..

"Oh, here you are. Mr. Knight.. your friend is conscious again, and you can meet her. But she is still kind of weak, so please don't make her talk a lot.." The doctor told him..

"Sure! I will take care.. But, can she get discharged today?" Laurent asked..

"I have to check her progress till the afternoon.. and then I can decide.." She said with a serious face..

"Oh ok.. Thank you.." He said and left quickly.. When he reached there, he saw Layla lying down on the bed..

"Layla.." Laurent said slowly, while entering the room..

"Laurent.." Layla's eyes filled with tear..

"Layla, don't cry.. Everything's ok.." He said while hugging her..

"I am not crying for that.." Layla said quietly..

"Then.. what for?" Laurent asked confusingly..

"I am crying because I can't stay like this anymore.." She said painfully.

"Stay like what?" Laurent asked..

"I can't pretend like I don't care.. It's killing me from inside.. I have never been heartbroken before.. And this is really hurting me.. I can't do this anymore." She cried even harder.. 

"What are you talking about?" Laurent asked confusingly..

"I am talking about you rejecting me.." She said, while sobbing..

"I never rejected you, Baby Girl.." Laurent said, with tears rolling down his cheek..

"Well.. walking off can't mean anything else.." She said..

"I walked off because I didn't knew what to say.. I didn't knew what will make you happy, or what will make me happy.. I thought about it a lot.. But I didn't say anything cause, I didn't wanted to remind you how I reacted.." He said painfully.

"I am really very sorry, Laurent.. I know things have been rough for me but I need to understand, that they are rough for you too.." She said, while making a sad face..

"Don't be sorry, Layla.. Cause there is something I need to tell you.. but before that I need to say that whatever I am going to say is honestly right from my heart, its not because of you.. and the main thing.. it's my decision." He said being very serious..

"O..k" She said looking confused..

"I.. Love.. You!" Laurent said happily..

*O.M.G!! Is this true!!? He loves me!!* She thought..

"Baby.. aren't you going to say anything?" Laurent asked with disappointment on his face..

"O.M.G! I can't believe it!!" Layla finally spoke up, which made Laurent smile..

"You can't believe what I am feeling at the moment.. I can experience heaven before death.." Layla said with her eyes closed..

"You will get a whole package in heaven.. once we will go to bed.." He winked..

"Eww Laurent.. Stop it.. I am not ready yet.." She said, while covering her ears with her hands..

"I know, baby girl.. I was just pulling your leg.." He says while laughing hard..

"Ok that's better.. but when am I going home? I want to meet mom! Does she know I am here?" Layla asks worryingly..

"Baby girl.. you worry a lot.. your mother doesn't know anything.. She read your note in the morning and called me to confirm, that are you with me or not.. and just so she doesn't worry. I said that you were really tired last night, so you slept at my house.. And she said ok" Laurent said, while being proud of himself..

"Ok.. but when does she expects me home?" She asked again..

"She didn't say anything like that, as she is fine with us to be together.. You know we are a perfect pair.." He joked..

"I know.. I know.." She said while rolling her eyes..

When they were still chatting and laughing.. Dr. Lee came in and said..

"You look pretty fantastic.. No sickness over your face.. Nothing tells you were ever sick.. Laurent has a magic in his touch and in his voice.." She says with her eyes wide open..

"Anyway.. Cutie, you can head home now.. You are too good to be under observation.." Everyone laughed, once Jennifer said that..

"Oh yay! Let's go.." Layla said while getting off her bed..

"Careful!" Laurent said as he caught her arm.. 

"She will be fine, don't worry.." The doctor said nicely..

They thanked the doctor and walked to Laurent's car. Once they got in, Layla asked..

"Where are we going, Babe.." 

"Oh.. New nickname.. I love it.. Anyway, we are going to go to my place.." He said with a evil smirk on his face..

"Your place? Why?" Layla asked with her brows furrowed..

"You will understand, Gf" He gave her a new nickname too.. 

As Laurent was driving Layla said..

"Stop the car, Laurent!" He stopped and asked..

"But, what happened??"

"I want to take you somewhere! And you can't deny!" She said in a bossy way..

"Okay.." He said while looking around..

But before he could say anything, she got out of the car. Then, she grabbed Laurent and made him come with her.. Laurent quickly locked his car and went with Layla..

"Here we are.." She said as they reached in a beautiful garden named 'Love Garden'..

"Here?" He asked while looking around..

"Yea.. So, as we are together now.. we can have.. some real fun.." She said, while moving towards him..

"Umm.. Are you sure about it.. cause I don't want to pressurise y-" Before he could finish, she grabbed him in a powerful kiss..

Her lips were on top of his.. Slowly.. Laurent's tongue was asking for Layla's permission, to enter her mouth.. And she permitted.. They kissed hard.. This was the best thing ever happened to Layla and Laurent.. There was a special power that made them connected.. A magic that is between them..
