3. Bunking College!

It was morning and birds were chirping outside Layla's window.

*Oh.. it's morning already..* She asked herself. After 5 minutes she got out of her bed and went to get freshen up.. For the first time in forever she was looking forward to the day.. 

 She went downstairs to have her breakfast.

"Good morning, sweetie!" Her mom said while making breakfast for her.

"Mom! Good morning! To be honest.. I am looking forward to the day! I am looking forward to meet.. Laurent.." She said being very shy..

"Oh! its great that you are looking forward to your day and just to remind you, we are having dinner with Laurent today.." She said with a smile spread across her face.

Layla's skin was glowing in happiness. She was really nervous but excited as well.

"Mom.. you have to make the best dish that you can cook. I really want him to come again.." She was giving sets of instructions to her mother. She quickly had her breakfast and left for college.

She was on her way but suddenly she got a phone call of his new best friend, Laurent. She picked up.

"Hello Laurent.. I was thinking about you since last night.. How are you?" She said things, that were on her mind.. she didn't need to but she still did..

"Oh! Baby girl.. you were missing me?" Laurent said in a mischievous way. He was trying to play around. 

"Uh.. since when is my name.. Baby girl?" She asked in a funny- bossy way. 

"Since you and me are best friend forever.. now meet me at the beach quickly! I need to talk to you..in private.." He said in an excited way.. Before she could say anything to protest, he hanged up. 

*Oh god! I hope everything is okay..* She whispered herself and started walking the other way but as she started walking..

"MISS BLACKBOURNE!!! Where do you think you are going!!? Have you forgotten your way to college! Come.Right.Back" When she turned around it was her maths teacher.

*What the heck! Why is this teacher following me around!?* She asked herself.

"Umm..yeah, I was about to come this way.. but I dropped something there, so was just picking it up.." She lied. She was wanting to go and meet Laurent, but the teacher messed everything up.

He sent her to the principal's office and told her to wait there for him to pick her up.

She went there and she started typing on her phone, but before she could sent it.. the principal snatched her phone away from her.. 

"Do you not know, that we are not allowed to have phones out except it's for learning!" He yelled on her and confiscated the phone. 

*No! I need to text him.. to let him know what's happening.. Oh no! I am sorry, Laurent..* Big tears rolled down her cheeks.. Suddenly, the English teacher named, Miss Rosy came to ask her what's wrong..

"What happened, dear? What makes you cry?" She asked concernly. Layla was always honest to her, so she decided to tell her everything. When she was done talking, her teacher said..

"Don't worry, Layla. I will get your phone for you.. I will talk to the principal to let you go.." As soon as she heard what Miss Rosy said.. she jumped up and hugged her..

"Thank you so much, Miss Rosy! You are the best!" She said and pulled away. Her teacher smiled and went to talk to the principal.
