"It may not be quite as dusty as the one we found for you, but it will do" Kili said, with a roguish smile.
They had decided to look for quarters, seeing as how the others had already scouted out rooms in the royal complex to claim.
Kili and Arenna had wandered the halls, talking for a while before finding rooms, sipping wine and joking all the way.
Both of them felt the edge of the alcohol eating at the serious air that hung over Erebor.
Which is why Arenna, rather unexpectedly, pounced on the bed and began to jump wildly, kicking off her boots as she did.
This was rather unlike her, and Kili stared in disbelief for a moment.
"What are you doing?" he asked, trying to keep shock from his voice.
"We have to get the dust off of the bed don't we, this is much better than shaking the sheets like we did in my room!"
Kili just stared for a while before eagerly following suit, he was never one to turn down a good bit of mischief. He catapulted himself onto the bed and began jumping with Renn, who seemed to have lost her wits.
"You're mad!" Kili yelled, reveling in every second of her madness.
The two jumped, laughing as if they were children for a long while, until suddenly, they weren't laughing anymore.
They were standing close, both breathing heavily, smiles slowly fading from their faces.
Arenna suddenly felt a shot of electricity that started in her chest, and spread.
It occurred to her that they were alone, properly alone, for the first time. The thought thrilled her beyond reason.
Kili reached for her hands, and taking them, drew her close and wrapped her arms around his waist.
Arena slid her hands around to press against his stomach. Through his tunic, she could feel the taught lines of his abdomen that she had only ever imagined. He was solid. Heavy and firm, all that she was not.
Without thought, Arenna clutched the fabric of his tunic and pulled him to her, pressing her lips to his.
Kili's reaction was immediate.
He cupped her cheek in his one hand, and buried his other in her long thick waves.
He crushed his lips to hers with such force that they swayed on the unsteady mattress and fell. Arenna landed atop Kili, and without thought, she hovered astride him— bodies not quite touching— and leaned in to continue their embrace. Kilis hands rose to grip her thighs, and she could feel them tense, trying to control themselves, trying not to squeeze her to hard.
Arenna's heart was hammering, she felt electric waves rush through her body making her shiver and shake and bite back a delicious whimper.
At the sound of Arenna's moan, Kili's unsteady control broke, had he pulled her body down to sit on his.
Arenna was shocked to feel a hardness in his breeches, pushing against her. She paused for a moment, stunned, not only by the discovery, but the the way her body reacted. A deep throb echoed in the pit of her abdomen and she thought she may pass out by the sheer need that she felt. She returned to his lips hungrily. She moved her body against his, tentatively at first, then more surely.
In response, Kili flipped Arenna with a speed and strength that thrilled her, so that he was hovering above her, his hand running up her abdomen and to the curve of her breast.
Renn ran her hands along the heard lines of his tensed back, slipping her hands under the fabric of his tunic.

There were voices carrying from down the hall, and footsteps that drew nearer.
"We'll find the two of you a room, unless you want to room with Bombur" came the slightly slurred voice of Balin.
"And I imagine you'll want to room with Fili, wherever he has gotten off too..."
"I'm Fili, he's Kili" came Fili's hiccuped response.
It seemed that Balin, Bofur and Fili has decided to turn in .
Kili and Arenna froze, hoping that the footsteps would continue on past.
But they didn't.
"What about this one, has anyone claimed these quarters?"
Fili's voice was at the door, the sound of his hand grabbing the handle sent Kili shooting up from the bed and running to the door. His speed, and terror were almost comical to Renn, and she had to stop from snorting.
He opened it, but only enough for his face to peek through.
"Waddya want?" he said, trying his best to feign the squinty confusion of one stirred from sleep.
"To get to sleep" Fili said laughing, and moving to open the door further, but Kili held it firm.
"This room is a bit small, and unless you fancy sleeping in the floor, you better get your own" Kili answered, letting out a nervous laugh.
For a moment, Fili was confused, but as he squinted into the sliver of room that was visible, he saw a foot hanging off the bed.
He grinned.
"Ok then, little brother. Before we leave you, dya happen to know where Miss Arenna got off to? None of us have seen her since you two slipped away."
Balin and Bofur nodded behind him.
"Aye where'd the lass run off to?"
Kili squinted at Fili, thoroughly annoyed.
"She said she was off to find a room. Said she was too tired to keep looking 'round," he answered.
Fili bit back a laugh, "Ah. Well, I'll let you return to bed. Get some... rest."
With a wink, Fili turned and left with the other two.
Renn had a moments breath, and her mind began to function, the clouds of the wine and lust began to clear. She was shocked at her own boldness, and at what had happened, but she was not ashamed.
She had wanted that to happen, for a long while now, and she felt shivers rushing through her fingers and toes.
Kili locked the door and turned to Arenna. Her hair was wild and tangled, her clothes were ruffled and her lips were red and swollen from his kisses.
He returned to the bed with a smile, and kissed Arenna. It was slow, and deep, and soft. But he pulled his lips away and kept them away.
Looking at her in the dim flicker of the torch light, Kili desperately wanted to continue what they had started, but thought better of it.
Not like this, he thought. Not so quickly, not when they were still half drunk.
Arenna was a bit disappointed, but she knew the moment had been interrupted and lost.
"You can stay the night, if you want" Kili said, combing Arenna's hair from her face, she reddened a bit at his familiar touch, but smiled.
"You probably can't find your way back to your own room-- and besides, we wouldn't want Fili to catch you stealing away from my room like a thief in the night. He may think you have stolen away my virtue."
Arenna laughed at this and threw a pillow at Kili's joking face.
"I'm afraid your virtue was long gone before you ever met me, Master Dwarf."
Kili, still laughing rose, and pulled off his shirt. Arenna tried not to stare at his muscular and scarred torso.
Kili returned to the bed with a plop, reclining on the pillows. Renn lay down next to him and he turned on his side to look at her. Just look. Arenna fidgeted and blushed, this was somehow more intimate than before and she found herself embarrassed— in a not altogether bad way. Not bad at all actually.
