"Oh-my-god!" Paul exclaims.

And then all of a sudden, Sarah's laughter booms through the house. "This is the real gift he deserves."

Everyone is confused. Even the kids have stopped playing and staring at their dad. And their dad, well he is blushing red. I smirk.

"But what is it?" Jones is the one to ask. Sarah holds out a sticky note with my terrible handwriting saying, "Told you I can fool you in the blink of an eye. The pleasure was mine, you winter fool."

And now everyone starts laughing at my non existent sense of humor. They aren't laughing because it's funny. They are laughing because this has been done before too. By me to him.

Everybody is focused on Sarah, looking at the note and laughing. My eyes are focused at Paul who still has the box in his hand, smiling while looking at the custom badge embedded on the inside, where the sticky note was found. And suddenly he pushes the badge. A wide grin spreads on my face.

"If I were you I would not buy that note." I stated, cutting all the voices in the room.

"Why?"

"You will know in a little while, idiots." I smirk.

Paul's eyes had gone wide again as he holds a key in his palm. "No you didn't."

"Actually, I did." I smile. "Merry Christmas."

"This is too much. How did you even know?" He was shocked. But damn. I wish I could kiss that shock off his face.

God Alexxia! Get your head straight! What are you even thinking?

"Wait a minute. What's going on? Who did what and - ugh! Just explain already." I like the frustrated Jones. He is cute.

"Will anyone tell me what's going on between you two?" Sarah narrows her eyes at the two of us and moving her finger right and left, trying to emphasize her seriousness. I smirk yet again.

"Its an Ashton Martin One-77." Paul says but his eyes never leave my face.

"Yes,its just the key. I already had the car brought to the garage this morning. Do you like it?" I ask him, my expression hopeful.

"I love it. But I can't accept it. This is too much." he replies.

"Its nothing really. It's a gift. For you." I somehow hide the pain of his polite rejection in my eyes.

"How much is this too much exactly?"

"$1.4M" Jones states, looking at me wide eyed And I wonder if his eyeballs will come out of their respective sockets.

"What the-" Sarah stops mid sentence as one of my bodyguard rushes towards us.

"What is it Zen?" I ask him.

"Its Miss Anna ma'am. She asked me to give you the phone."

I put the phone in my ear and answer. "Hello?"

"There is an emergency. The fashion show has been pre-poned due the the predicted weather report saying it will snow heavily. We have to leave immediately."

"Um okay. Give me ten. I will leave after that."

"Okay. I will be waiting in the airport."

"Yeah. See you in the airport then. Bye." I hang up.

"Zen, get the car ready. We will be leaving immediately." i instruct. He nods and leaves the scene.

"Leaving? Airport? What's going on?" Sarah asks.
