*Recap*

We are standing at the end of the highland, and trust me if someone falls from here he or she sure will be dead. But it sure is beautiful. The sun is setting in front of me. And the breeze is refreshing. I guess my day wasn't that bad after all.

Suddenly something rises from below. I take a step back and cover my mouth.

***

"Oh. My. Lord!" My jaw drops.

Beautiful pink and red balloons, tied to a small basket rises, floating slowly in the air. "Cute."

I get a hold of the basket and then look at him again. He has a grin plastered on his face saying, "Go ahead."

Inside the basket are a card and a velvet box with the letters 'for you' carved on it.

The card says, "I had fallen for you since the day I first saw you in the cafe giggling with your friends. I don't know if you believe in love at first sight but you make my heart flutter like a small girl every moment you are around me. I know I should have said this in front of you but I know I would have messed up or chickened out. But I can't bear to lose you to someone else. So if you like me back, please give me a chance. I promise I won't let you down.
If you think you can give me a chance, there is something in the box for you. I will be waiting by the stables for you. And even if you don't like me back, don't worry. We can be friends always. No pressure. See you around.

With love,
Jason."

What should I say? What should I do? I don't believe in love. Love is just another word for sorrow and tragedy. But I don't even want to break his heart.

Ugh! So confusing. It's not like I didn't have any boyfriends before but none of them even made an effort to be romantic. They were all concerned about my fame and money. But Jason, he is the sweetest guy I have ever met. How do I break his heart? He was so happy about this.

Oh, I completely forgot about this. The velvet box. I open it to find a beautiful silver bracelet with a small butterfly covered in small glittering diamonds and the words, 'Be Mine' carved on it.

All this effort sure is flattering. I should give him a single chance, right?

After thinking a lot. I make a decision. But who knew this one decision would affect my life so much.

When I reach the stables, I find him sitting in one of the stools petting a horse. With my hands behind my back, I call out his name.

He turns back, and I can feel the sudden nervousness, spreading vigorously like fire, in the air. His eyes penetrating looking through my soul, as if searching for something. I know what it is that he seeks.

My answer. But although my lips have parted nothing comes out. All the noise from the crowd have muted, I can hear nothing. Is this what love feels like?

Now that I know that my 'always bigmouth' won't be functioning healthily anytime soon, I hold out my hand, making sure he gets a good look at the bracelet. Yes. I made a decision to give him a chance.

And as I predicted he lets out a sigh of relief. He steps forward and we are just inches apart from each other. I can hear his heartbeat accelerating with each breath I take. He tucks a strand of hair from my face behind my ear and whispers slowly, "Miss Alexxia Corvette, will you do me the extraordinary honor of being my girlfriend?"
