"How sad." I mocked him. "I bet you're already itching to meet him.
"You bet." he said and ate another chocolate. "Missed him?"
"Over my dead body, kuya." I hissed. Miss him? HELLNO!NEVER!
I heard him smirked. "Hate him that much, princess? Still can't get over it?"
I glared at him. "Never. Not in a million years." maybe even in afterlife. I added in my mind.
He's the meanest and most heartless person I've ever met. Not to mention the most conceited one as well. Every single damn time na maririnig ko ang pangalan niya, kumukulo dugo ko. Laking pasalamat ko na nga lang nung umalis siya e. Tapos ngayon babalik siya? Huh!
"The more you hate, the more you lo–ow–" sinapak ko nga. That quotation can never be implemented to me. I'd be dead if ever.
"Kuya, never in eon years that will happen." I assured him and he patted my head.
"Good to hear." he said seriously while staring directly at me. "Or I'll be damn if that happens."
"I assure you."
"I know. Just be extra careful with him, ayt?" I smile and nod as an answer.
"I'll be."

Like what he said, we received an invitation for the party yesterday. It was actually for our parents but since busy at wala sila dito sa ngayon, we're left with no choice but be their proxy.
"Princess, are you done?" I heard kuya shouted outside.
I stared at myself in the mirror. I'm wearing a plain dark blue sleeveless fitted dress. I twirled around. This is totally different from who I am before. If I were to wear this outfit years ago, I would definitely say no. Well, I'm still not used to wearing dresses and high heels, but I learned when and how to. For the past years, I learned how to dress properly and sophisticatedly and how to act like one. Hindi biro ang training na pinagawa sakin nina Mom just to learn how to mingle in their world.

Mula pagkabata, I don't do dresses, make-ups, and skirts. Ayoko nun. I prefer to wear t-shirts, shorts and pants. I grew up with a bunch of boys kaya ako naging boyish. But then, everything changes. Kailangan kong maging isang babaeng sopistikada at may class, kaya nag-aral ako. Though I'm still somehow boyish, but I know when to be one and when not to.
