Cousin (Part I)

"Welcome to Heaven's Paradise, Ms. Martinez and Mr. Alvarez."

Bumungad sa amin ang dalawang hilera ng mga staff at admin ng resort. It was kinda overwhelming to think of our short notice of change in schedule. Ang dapat umaga kahapon na dating namin ay inabot na ng gabi ngayon.

May isang lalaking lumapit sa amin. "Good evening, I'm Jerry Loyzaga, and I'll be the one in charge of you for the remaining of this event." he smile as he offer his hand. I notice on his name tag that he's the manager. Well, for one, he's a bit young than I expected but he seems nice and professional.

I smile at him, and was about to shake hands with him when Lu-lu beat me to it. "Good day, I expect that everything's well?" kita ko yung pagngiwi niya kaya hinila ko na yung kamay ni Lu-lu. He might accidentally break his bones if ever.

I try to smile to lessen the tension while gripping Lu's hands in mine. And it didnt escape my notice when he intertwine our fingers na kahit anong bawi ko, hindi ko mapakawalan. "Nice to meet you too, Mr. Loyzaga. Hope our late arrival didn't cause any problems?"

"It's alright and we're informed in advance by Mr. Martinez." nilingon ko si Lu-lu na kanina pa tahimik nung nabanggit si Daddy. He shrugged and went on glaring at Jerry. For sure siya nagsabi kina Daddy. "That's why we already—-"

"Where's our room?" he snap cutting the manager's words.

Pasimple kong sinamaan siya ng tingin but he returned it with his own glare. Kairita talaga siya, ang bastos pa. Kitang nagsasalita pa yung tao.

"Oh right, sir." he smile. "Your rooms are ready and are placed on the top floor. We made it so that they are adjacent to each other just like what Sir Martinez wanted. We also followed your preferences and I hope you like the view from your balconies."

The moment he said that, I feel like my eyes twinkle. I sooooo love the view from balconies. If there's something I love aside from traveling, it will be that. And I bet nahalata din yun ni Lucifer for he turn to look at me and smile amusingly. He even patted my head like I'm a child.

On the way, I can't help but be giddy. Gosh. Nakakahiya siya if I were to be asked, but who the hell cares? They can all mind their own businesses and leave me. But I'm really excited. If my memory serves me right, magaganda ang reviews sa Heaven's Paradise kahit na halos bago pa lamang siya. They always praise them for the beautiful scenery na tanaw mo from the balcony and I can't wait to see it with my own eyes.

The elevator ride wise quite amusing. It's not like the usual since when we reached 3rd floor, the walls changed into glass and the view was magnificent. Kitang-kita ang city and the setting sun. Dun palang, nakuha na nila ang approval ko. I wouldn't mind going here again.

"Wow" I'm amaze, kaya yun na lang yung nasabi ko when I felt his gaze. "It's beautiful." I'm now seeing the sunsent from a higher point unlike kapag nasa beach ako. The transition of colors are pretty much resembles a painting. I feel like painting it later.
