"Good morning, Allie!"
I smiled at them in return. Oh how I missed my cooking classes! They all greeted me while I walk to our session room. Since nung nagmini-vacation ako, nakakausap ko na lang sila through skype para makibalita sa mga homeworks and projects.
"Welcome back!"
They all beamed as they popped out confetti in front of me when I opened the door. I smiled at them. Noting that my two crazy best friends were the one who would plan something like this. Kitang-kita naman kasi sa theme na ginawa nila na yung dalawang yung ang may pakana. Ikaw ba naman gawin parang children's party yung room, ewan ko na lang.
"Thanks guys!" I told them while I gave each of them a hug.
Good thing were only few having this classes. Actually we're only 11 in this class and almost all of us were just doing it for fun. And most of all, lahat kami dito magkakaibigan na since high school and college days pa.
"How dare you to not to invite us with that little escape of yours!" I laughed at his expression especially the moment he pouted. He really is cute and all! Giovanni Lee Mallari is like a baby brother I never had. He's a model and athlete at the same time. High school buddies kami and friends. Isa rin siya sa partner in crime ko kapag bored ako. And we both love eating and traveling kaya alam ko ang pinanghuhugutan ng tampo niya ngayon. Because this is the first time I travel without him.
I hug him closer and tighter. "Oh Gio! Stop sulking." I said. "Next time it'll be the two of us to have our little escape!"
He grinned like a Cheshire cat. "Ok. I'll take that as a promise, Lis." I smiled in return. He really loves calling me Lis unlike everyone else calling me Allie. Though I never knew why, not that it mattered a lot.
"Of course it is!"
We did some chit-chats since it was still early for our class. I told them all the things I loved doing in America. And good thing none of them asked the reason for that escape that I had. They really are good friends I know I can rely on aside from my clique.
"May drag race din naman dito a? And I could help you with it. All you have to do is to tell me." I look at the one who asked. It was Liam Go. A well-known drag racer and model in the Philippines. "What's the difference here and in America?"
"I know that. Ayoko lang kasi na magising ako isang umaga na nasa front page na naman ako." I explained. "I really don't want any more attention from the world. And in America, some may know me but I have freedom to do what I want."
"Nga naman." I look at Danica and smile. She's Danica Paner, a ramp model and stage actress. "Mahirap nga naman yung situation niya and we all know that. She has a life more complex and complicated that ours."
I smirked inwardly with that. Coming from someone else, it sounds good. But for me, absolutely not. Yes. We're all famous in our own fields and areas but it's also true that the life they have is almost nothing to what's mine. Having the world looking at your every action is going to make anyone go insane. Good thing I haven't yet.
"Oh my gosh!!" Charm and Irish shouted together from the corner. Making us all look at them.
"May problema?" we all asked them but they just looked at us with eyes wide as the owl's and mouth hanging open.
"Hey. Anything wrong?" I asked. Their attention snapped into me and the look they're giving me is making me nervous. "What?!" I snapped. Ok. I'm annoyed and nervous. Seriously, their looks are give me the creeps.
"Have you looked into the internet before you get in here?!" Charm asked.
"No." what does it have to do with them? "It's off."
"Oh shit." Irish groaned while Charm face palmed. "Quick and get your phone and read the latest news in the internet!" she shouted and all of us followed her.
I looked for my bag and opened my phone panicky. Geez. Why did I forget to turn it on? While waiting for it to open and connect to the internet, I heard them gasp and everyone's head turned to my direction. The look on their faces is similar to the ones Charm and Irish had. And it only tells me that it has something to do with me. But what?
The moment it was finish loading, I immediately typed the site they indicated awhile ago and in an instant, the news that was posted made my jaw dropped literally.

Many bachelors were devastated and shocked about it. While most influential and powerful personalities were curious and excited about this latest information concerning about one particular woman.
An information leaked that the one of the most sought out woman today and the only daughter and heiress of Mr. & Mrs. Martinez, Ms. Seraphim Allison Martinez, is about to be married. I felt my head was spinning with what I read. I ignored the other details even their calls and questions as I grabbed my things and hurried my way to my car. Gosh. Ano bang nangyayari sa mundo??
"Connect me to Francis Yu." I ordered Siri as soon as I am inside my car. I waited until the beep tone follow by his voice mail. "Damn it."
I didn't bother calling him but I left him my message hoping he could get it right ahead. Takte talaga. Bullshit traffic and police. I step on the accelerator and speed up towards our house.
On my way, I notice people gossiping around while looking at their phones and even the flat screen monitor I passed through flashed the same news. I know for sure that everyone knew about it already. But I need to know what shit is happening in here. And who the hell is that man. And hopefully, wishing that this was all a nightmare.
Because this is not happening. No.
This is not fucking happening.
Not to me.
