Once Upon A Time

Third Person

"Have you already book a schedule for that day?"

"Everything's already set. It'll be a three day event and I already booked a room for you beside theirs."

Isang ngiti ang sumilay sa kanyang mga labi. 3 days, and everything that they have been planning will soon come to pass. Hindi nasayang ang ilang taon niyang pananahimik at pagmamasid.

Ngumiti siya rito, "Thanks, Mr. Han."

Mr. Han bowed deeply, "It's a pleasure to serve you." before leaving.

Silence enveloped the room, mula sa pwesto niya sa bintana, kitang-kita niya ang pigura ng babaeng nakatayo sa malayo. Hindi rin nagtagal, dumating ang isang lalaki at tsaka sabay silang nawala sa kanyang paningin. This is what a normal day looks like for him. Mula sa malayo, nagbabantay, nagmamasid. And as their car disappear from his sight, a flashback of memories flood his mind.

"What's your name?"

His head snapped towards the girl in front of him. And unlike those he was used to, this girl is smiling softly at him. Hindi kagaya ng iba na halos habulin na siya o kaya naman matakot sa kanya. A girl with an angelic face stares at him and he found himself blushing. For someone as young as he is, it's something new for him to experience. Dahil kadalasan, hinahabol siya ng mga babae dahil sa itsura niya o kaya naman dahil sa anak siya ng isang kilalang tao. He chose to stay away from them because of that reason, wala naman kasing totoo sa kanila. He's been there and done that. But this time is different. He knew this girl, who she is and the people surrounding her. But for him to be embarrassed is something bothering him. Nevertheless, it was not something bad.

"Why are you alone? Want to come and play with us?" he kept his mouth shut. Surely, she'll go crying once I ignore her, is what he thought. "You're the new kid right? Is that why you're alone? What are you doing here?"

And from a distance he saw three boys, about their age watching them. Two of them are frowning while the tallest of them, glares at him. He could feel the anger and hate directed towards him and he surely return it with his own. Wala siyang planong makipag-kaibigan sa kanila, ayaw niya. He's been acquainted with those boys at his age and he personally don't like their presence. And it seems to him that they do feel the same towards him.
