Even though I'm on my own, I know I'm not alone because I know there's someone, somewhere praying that I make it home. So here's one from the heart, my life right from the start, I need a home sweet home to call my own.
Someone, Somewhere

Being a mother hen to a pack of teenage boys is... not how I pictured my life going. I wish I still had my job at the hospital; after everything that happened I thought it best to stay away. Tessa never apologised, never tried to contact me, and so I took that as a sign to stay away.
Embry is out on patrol - again - and Renesmee has gone hunting with her aunts and mom. I could hang with Emily, but she's busy also mothering her pack of hormonal boys, and I could go home, but the boys have gone to Baltimore with dad for the week. I was offered to join them but I can't stand that place anymore - it's almost as bad as hearing his name.
I sigh and roll over, feeling the lonliness set in. What to do... what to do... I puff air into my cheeks and exhale slowly, grabbing my boots and heading downstairs, through the garden and into the trees; maybe a peaceful walk along the beach will do. For an early Saturday with the sun in the sky, it's awfully quiet along here. I walk just along the shore line, where the water meets the sand at its thinnest density.
I fold my arms over my chest and walk, lost in my thoughts. I'm half aware when someone begins walking beside me. "What's up, mini Jacobs?"
I smile small; Emmett. "I'm lonely, Em." I admit in a small voice.
His burly arm wraps around my shoulder. "And why's that?" Emmett has a heart of gold and - when needed - he can be serious and overprotective.
"I don't know honestly. I think it's just a phase but... bleh." I say when I don't know how to finish my sentence.
Emmett stops me walking by placing a hand on my arm, pulling me to face him. "Do you need an Emmett hug?"
I giggle small and nod, wrapping my arms around his torso as he wraps his around my shoulders, holding me close but gently. "Thank you Emmett." I whisper closing my eyes.
"No problem... I hear wolves near by, you wanna face them or come back to ours?" I hear the smirk in his voice.
I giggle small and shrug, my eyes still closed. He picks me up and holds me close, taking off running. He laughs as we hear the wolves trying to keep up, but he skips up a tree as I cling to him for dear life; he'd never drop me, but a human like me isn't supposed to be up this high.
"Emmett!" I laugh as I grip him tighter.
His chest vibrates as he laughs, swinging with one arm from a tree. We seem to already be at the house; Esme stands on the balcony opposite the trees. "Emmett, let the poor girl down."
"But shes so small and cuddly-"
I shriek as someone swipes me away. "She smells delicious too." Jasper smirks teasingly.
I roll my eyes and jump down from his arms as he let's me. "Wow, what a compliment!"
They all laugh gently; Esme comes obee and wraps an arm around my shoulder. "It's lovely to see you! Come on inside, I'll make you food."
