Where's your gavel? Your jury?
What's my offense this time?
You're not a judge but if you're gonna judge me
Well sentence me to another life.Ignorance

I curl up on the couch with Buddy as I hear pots bang in the kitchen. "Embry please don't burn my house down...." I say slowly.
"Shit Ow, no baby I got it- Ow!" I hear.
I go to get up but he peaks in. "Stay." He warns and I sigh, relaxing my aching body back. Yep, I'm still sick. Yep, I forgave him. But- but!- I did have a really bad go at him; I yelled and cried and make myself sicker but he listened - finally. So I agreed to come home as long as he realises the boundaries between me, us and the pack. So far, it's going okay. I mean, he's trying to cook for me and the boys. They'll be here later - dad and Pipper are going away apparently, and neither of us trust them alone.
I sigh and lay my head back; it's so strange to just go back to normal after a fight. No sulking or awkwardness. With... with Dean, it would take us days, sometimes weeks, to get back to our usual loved up state but with Embry, it's like nothing happened - except for the good changes that are happening as a result of our 'little' tiff.
"The party has arrived." Bailey yells as he throws his bag on the couch and instantly starts plugging his Xbox in.
"Um excuse me." I protest with a cough.
"I did when I first met you." He winks.
I roll my eyes. "Sorry dad."
"Ouchy you bitch." He scowls. "I'm no way like dad."
"That was totally a dad thing to say." Cooper backs me up as he moves both their backs behind the couch. "What's burning?" He pulls a face.
"Probably my house." I sigh as I drag myself up and into the kitchen. I grab the pot of spaghetti and take it off the heat quickly as it boils over, turning it into the sink only for nothing to come out. "You've burnt pasta to my good pot."
"I'm sorry." Embry bites his lip. "I really did try.."
I laugh small and turn the gas off on the cooker. "Go order a pizza, see if the others want to come and entertain the boys for me."
"You make us sound like we're five!" Bae calls annoyed.
"Same mentality!" Embry calls back and I laugh, sniffing. "Are you sure you want them to come over? I thought you didn't like them here..."
I sigh. "No baby I love them here. It would just be nice to be asked if I want to cook or have my home invaded, or if I want to go join them for food or whatever. They're family. Of course I like them." I laugh small.
