AN// quick question;
Do you guys want to read the letters from Amelia, the mom? If so, shall I put them on their own as additional chapters or as part of a chapter?
Enjoy!
"Kinley Rose, did you just throw your puffs at me?" I gasp playfully; she giggles, sat in her high chair with a puff stuck to her cheek, 3 in her hair and a dozen across the floor. "You did?! You cheeky girl!"
I tickle her toes and smile as I clean up, picking her up from the highchair. "I think you and I should catch up on some Supernatural huh? Yes." I laugh as she shrieks when I say the name.
I straighten her dress out and go to the livingroom. I sit in the large beanbag and set her in her mamaroo, a swaying baby bouncer. Best think I ever bought. I find the episode I'm on and sit back comfortably, checking on her; her eyes are glued to the tv.
"That is Sam Winchester - the sexiest man alive. Apart from your daddy, of course." I say as she watches. "He's super handsome and clever, like your daddy. That's his brother Dean, he's funny and sarcastic like your uncle Jacob. I guess you could say that daddy and Jakey are your realise heroes like the Winchesters." I say, talking absentmindedly to her.
She shrieks and kicks her legs making me giggle. "You like this huh? So does mama. Do not tell Jakey we watched it without him." I kiss her head.
I spend hours talking to her about the show, about her dad and uncle's. Rose should be here later so I can have some human company, but most of the Cullens are hunting or working. As for the wolf girls, well I don't really get along with. I mean, we get along but not in a friendship kind of way - more so a 'we're all imprints so let's talk on the odd occasion'. Emily - of course - is the exception but she's always busy feeding the pack now so I don't bother her often. Only to catch up when she has 5 minutes, which isn't often now. We used to share the burden of feeding the boys but since Kin, I haven't been much help.
I must've fallen asleep as well as Kinley because next thing I know the credits to the episode I swear had just started roll already. As I lay watching the credits roll on the screen I hear a floor board creek; instantly I look over towards the closed livingroom door, hoping it's Embry or Rose or someone, but there's no one there.
I hear footsteps slowly walk along the hall and panic; I pick Kinley up, grab her blanket and changing bag before quietly but quickly going to the big doors. As silently as I can I open the door and slide out, closing it behind me as I rush across the damp grass; the sky is an orange color from the sunset, giving me just enough light to rush through the forest.
Just a little further and you're at Jake's and you're safe. I keep repeating to myself as my heart races; Kinley stirs and my hand shakes as I give her the paci again, exiting into the big clearing that is Jacobs back yard.
