The new god picked up the taller one, his gaze soft on him. Reaper had passed out from crying so much, which just broke the new monster more. Even though he was sleeping, tears still fell from the death god's closed eyes.
Jumping into the air, the new god flew to the home of Reaper and his Papyrus. He had to get him home... He had to make the other's see...
"COMING!" Came the loud voice as the new god knocked on the door.
The taller skeleton was in the middle of a meeting with Undyne, Alphys, and Frisk, even Asgore were there! Heck, Life was even in the same room as her ex-husband!
Upon opening the door, Papyrus was instantly brushed aside as the skeleton in white walked in, still holding the passed out god.
"Sans! What did you do to my brother!" The taller skeleton shouted, causing everyone to rush in.
Frisk gasped at the sight of her friend in the arms of the stranger, clinging to them as if they were the lifeline that he needed. Life covered her mouth, tears filling her eyes as Asogre and Undyne glared at him in accusingly. Alphys hid behind her love, fear in her bright eyes.
The new monster didn't seemed bothered by the unwelcoming stares, but did as he pleased. Calmly, he placed the sleeping god on the battered couch. He knew that the older god needed his rest...
"What did you do to Sans!" Asgore shouted, the skies shaking.
The monster seemed unfazed by this, turning to look at them head on.
"I saved him from himself... Something none of you seem to care about." Hissed the monster as he glared at the older gods.
Reaper whimpered in his sleep, curling even more into himself.
"I-I'm s-sorry..." He whispered, so softly the others barely heard... But they did...
"Sorry? What is my brother sorry about?" Papyrus glared at the new monster.
He sighed, shaking his head at the stupid brother.
"You call yourself his brother, but yet you refuse to see that he is depressed... You refuse to see that he needs help."
Slowly, the monster pulled down the hood, only to reveal the tears... The tears that were leaving stains on his once porcelain face... To reveal the deep dark circles under his eyes that were darker than his cloak... To show them he wasn't fine... To show that he wasn't what they all thought he still was.
"He cries because of you... He cries and mourns because you were always a good little boy." The god hissed at the other, his eyes turning red. "Because you couldn't mind your own fucking buisness! He know mourns the sin he had to cause!"
The god of Death whimpered lowly in his sleep, causing the younger one to look back at him. A pale hand stroked the side of Reaper's skull, relaxing him in his sleep.
"He can't go a day without being reminded of the act you forced him to cause... You're the reason I had to intervine..." The blue eyed monster muttered, keeping his voice soft and quiet.
"I-Inter-Intervene on w-what?" Life's voice shook with fear... With concern...
"He tried to let Chara kill him... I stopped that little bitch..." He muttered, his eyes not leaving the sleeping monster. "He tried to hang himself one night, but he stopped, unable to betray the one who he mourns for... Then tonight... While you all were having a meeting... He... He tried to hang himself once more... You would never have found his dust..."
The last of his words felt like boulders were thrown a top them all. Reaper wasn't... He couldn't be!
Yet... It all was too clear... How could it not be? He was barely sleeping... Not even a regular sleep cycle like the humans... He barely ate anything... He always disappeared to visit someone as he always put it... He worked harder than his own brother... He... He was more than depressed... How could none of them feel it? How could none of them see it! He was their friend and brother! They should've seen that something was wrong!
"Finally seeing it?" The new god asked, his voice harsh and cruel... Just as cruel as the reality of it all.
