I walked into the darkness... It welcoming me... It loving me... Yet, I hated it...
I sighed softly as I continued to walk... Feeling as if someone was following. I looked behind me, confused. No one... I turn forward again only to be tackled to the ground seconds later!
I gasped for air as I look to see who had tackled me.
Tears stung my eyes as I gazed at my love... At the one who never gave me my soul back. I wanted to hug him... To wrap my arms around him once more... But I knew this wasn't real...
He smiled down at me, his eye the way it always was when he was angry... I didn't want to make him angry... I hated it when he was mad at me.
"Reaper~" He moaned out, nearing my lips. "Why don't you join me?" He whispered, tilting my chin up.
"J-Join yo-you?" I whispered, afraid of his anger.
He just laughed, giving my neck open mouthed kisses. He moved his lips to my lips, the spark... It was numb... It wasn't there...
"Join me... I want to feel that spark again. I want to feel our love again. I want to forgive you, but I can't because you keep waking up." Geno explained, his eye sad. "I want you to sleep forever and then the spark will happen... I want you, my love... I need you." He purred, his hands rubbing my chest, slowly moving down.
"I-I want t-to." I whimpered, tears falling from my eyes. "I-I want t-to s-so badly... B-But I-I can't... T-Th-The world n-needs me... I-I want y-you... I-I ne-need you..." I sobbed, letting him do as he pleased.
He ignored my words, untying my cloak. He knew that I only wear boxers underneath it. He smirked as he noticed the I wasn't fighting him... That I wasn't doing anything to stop him.
"Do it. It'll make everything better." Geno moaned out, throwing my cloak somewhere.
"Geno!" I sobbed out.
Reaper gasped as he jolted from the dream. His eye sockets took in everything, from the clean room, to the soft bedsheets.
He broke into tears within seconds, they never ending! He was patheitic... He was acting as if Geno had left him just yesterday... It was a year ago! Why can't he get over it!
He looked around the room... Xas wasn't there...
Carefully, the god locked the door, backing away from it to his bed...
He had to end it... To make the nightmares stop... To end the never ending suffering...
Summoning a small bone attack, the monster pulled off his cloak. He looked down at his body... Thin and nearly wasted... Filled with greif and pain... It was awful...
Someone was pounding on the door, shouting his name... It was the nice monster... Still, Reaper kept the door closed and locked... And with the little magic he had left, kept everyone from breaking the door or teleporting in... He needed to do this... He had to do this...
Slowing he slid the sharp bone across his perfect bones. Blue colored magic fell out with red blood. He kept going until he was dizzy... Just one more attack and things would just... End...
"I'm sad on the inside,
But I must smile on the outside..." A soft, angelic voice sang through the door, stopping the dark god.
The voice... It was like a siren's voice... However, it didn't make the god want to stop his death... But listen to the music instead... The voice sounding so much like his love's...
"Why, oh, why, oh, why,
Must I cry?
Why must I take the blame?
Why must it all be the same?" The voice continued, Reaper slowly crawling to the door, his legs had buckled underneath him after his fourth cut, but the music was more important right now... He wanted to hear more of it... "Have I been evil,
But wasn't I the angel?" The voice whispered, though with how close the older god was, he heard it.
He waited and waited... Though it seemed the song ended...
"Reaper, please open the door... I will continue singing if you just open the door... That's all I'm asking..." Xasilinta murmured through the door.
For a moment the older god hesitated... Slowly, though, he stood on shaky legs, reaching out to touch the handle...
Piercing his lips... He unlocked the door and backed away, stumbling down, pulling his legs to his chest like a child.
The other god was in the room in seconds, the door wide open. He pulled the weakened god to him, healing him as quickly as possible.
"C-can y-you..." Reaper's voice trailed off, scared... He didn't want to talk...
"Oh, oh, oh..." The Passion god started slowly, his voice soft and melodic. "Wasn't I the angel,
And they the devil?
Must I take the blame?
Must I cry the same tears?"
The dark god leaned onto the smaller one, letting the song consume him. He loved how soothing it was... How it let him just relax...
"I'm not the same...
Not after all these years!" Sili slowly rocked the two, trying to keep the dark god calm. He shouldn't have left for as long as he had... "The devil broke me down,
The devil broke me down...
The devil pinned this angel down,
The devil pinned this angel down..."
Death felt himself slowly lose himself to sleep... The calmness of it all was overwhelming... He didn't know why... But he loved it... He loved the peace of it...
"The devil had broke me!
The devil had set... me free..." Xasilinta looked down at the hurting immortal... He knew what it was like... To just suffer everyday and the only way out was death... But he didn't want him to die! He couldn't let that happen! "With these red painted lines,
That bear my arms...
I can choose my sides,
Whether it's innocence or harm..." He continued, Reaper near sleeping... Which was good...
Papyrus and the others just watched, too shock to move... Just like before... They couldn't believe what was happening before their eyes! Reaper, who was known to always try and dominate people, was letting a younger being care for him! To let the younger treat him like he was child!
Still... They stayed silent... Listening to the song... An odd song it was...
"I'm crying...
I'm trying...
I'm not lying!
I'm truly trying!" He paused, stroking the sleeping god's head with sadness. "Though... You don't see that... Do you now?" He ended slowly, his voice turning into a whisper.
Picking up the monster, he laid him down on the soft bed. After pulling up the blankets, he turned to the other immortals.
"I'm not leaving his side." He stated with a matter of fact voice. No one was going to try... No one wanted to tempt him... He was truly the God of Protection and Passion...
Reaper's fourth attempt... Failed...
