Reaper hummed softly to himself as he finished his shift for the day. His body was sore as the people were spread far and wide. That and he was starting to get tired. Which was good he guessed.

He yawned softly as he teleported back home. He wanted to get some rest... Though... He feared the nightmares that might ensue...

"Reaper! There you are!" The bright god hopped over to the older god, a smile on his face and a basket in his arms. "Do you want to join me on a picnic with Queen Toriel?" He asked, his voice chirper.

The tired god nodded, a soft smile on his face. He liked seeing the younger like this... It reminded him so much of Geno when he found out that he brought some sweets with him.

The two easily flew over to Life's garden and walked the rest of the way. Death didn't have to worry about killing anything as he still wasn't in the right mood to kill anything with touching...

"Xasilinta! Sans!" She called out with glee, having a blanket already set up for everyone.

"Hello, Queen Toriel." The white wearing skeleton smiled at her, handing over the basket.

She gave a polite laugh at how formal the young monster was, but said nothing of it.

"How have you two been?" Her smile widened as she took out the sandwiches, a bowl of salad, and a couple bottles of soda and water.

"I've been well." The youngest answered, slightly turning to Reaper, giving him an encouraging smile. "Come on, Reaps... It's okay..."

The saddened skeleton looked at the two, who waited for his response... They both giving him a calm smile. They didn't want him to feel uncomfortable.

"I-It... I-it's fi-fine..." He whispered quietly.

Xas gave the stuttering god a soft pat on the shoulder, a pleasant smile on his lips.

"That's good... Now, why don't we enjoy ourselves some delicious food! Specially after Sili spent so much time making it!" Life laughed gently, her red eyes lingering on the shadow wearing god.

"S-Su-Sure..."

The three of them ate, the queen and the newest god talking like old friends. The sight brought an unknowing smile to his lips... He felt like this could've happened to Geno if he was given a chance...

After finishing a sandwich and a half, he yawned again. It was soft, so neither of them heard, though Xas did look over.

Reaper rubbed his eyes like a toddler, growing more and more tired in the safety of the garden... Everything was just so... Calm and quiet... Not a hit of darkness was to be seen...

The tired god laid his head on the white skeleton's lap, his arms encircling his waist. He just needed a quick nap... That's all... A quick nap...
