Imagine: Jack gets a concussion and you volunteer to help him around the school.

Your POV

I was looking on Snapchat when I saw that Jack got a concussion. I called my best friend Finn because I know they are friends.

(You-Y Finn -F)

Y-Finn! Oh my god did you see what happened to Jack??
F: Ok y/n I know already we're friend duh. Why are you so worried? You got a crushhhhh?!!!
Y: EW no! I'm just worried cuz he's your friend
F: yeah whatever, want to hand this weekend??
Y: sure
F: yay!!
Y: ok ok I gotta go byeeee!!!
F: byeeee!

(2 days later)

I walked into the school and then to my locker. I opened it and grabbed my books. Next, I walking into my first class and sat down. After a while, Jack came in slowly and with a note in his hand.

He gave the note to the teacher and the teacher looked at it. "Alright class, I need someone to help Jack the next few days since he is injured. Any volunteers?" she asked. No one raised their hand and I didn't want to because I barely know him.

Jack's POV

After my teacher asked for volunteers, no one raised their hand. I looked down sadly and I guess the teacher noticed because she said "If no one wants to volunteer, then I have to pick someone myself. Hmmm Y/n! How about you." I looked up around the class and a girl with h/c and e/c looked up. I recognized her. She's Finn's friend.

Your POV

I looked up when the teacher said my name. I saw Jack look at me with a smile. "Y/n raise your hand." the teacher said. I raised my hand and Jack started walking over to.me. I smiled as he sat down. Class started and went on until it was over.

When the bell rung I got up and waited for Jack to pack up. When he was done he got up and we walked out in the hall.
"Sooo...I have science now, you?" Jack said awkwardly. "I have science too," I said. We walked in silence to the classroom. When we got inside I showed him to my seat and we sat down.
"You feeling better?" I asked awkwardly. "I'm fine I guess," he said while looking down. "Oh ok if you need anything just ask, that's what I'm here for!" I said trying to lighten the mood. "ok!" he mimicked
We then started to burst out laughing, even though it wasn't that funny. Hmmm this isn't too bad.

(A few days later)

You call Finn to talk to him and make plans for the weekend.
(You-y Finn-F)

Y: hey hey hey wazz up???
F: I don't know...
Y: don't say it...
F:  THE SKY! HAHAHA
Y: oh God no
F: ok fine. Can I ask you something??
Y: go ahead
F: Can Jack hang with us?? Since you guys are always together all of a sudden. Why is that??
Y: you know I'm his personal bodyguard right?? My teacher made me help him around school because of his injury.
F: oh so you're kissing his boo-boo every time he gets hurt??
Y: WHAT EW GROSS FINN NOOOO!!! All I'm doing is making sure he doesn't faint or something.
F: ok.....anyways can he??
Y: I guess
F: great! See you in a few hours at my house bye!!
Y: Bye Bye

(a few hours later)

I walked up to Finn's door and knocked. A few seconds later Finn opened the door and I stepped in.
"HEY NICKKKKK!!" I yelled at Finn's brother.
"HI Y/NNNNNNN" he yelled back. I followed Finn up to his room. He opened the door and I walked in. Jack was on the bed playing with his phone.
"oh hey, y/n!" Jack said. "hey!" I said. I sat down is Finn's spinning chair and Finn sat on his bed too. 
"What should we do?" I asked. " how about truth or dare?" Finn asked. Jack and I agreed and we started playing.

"Finn truth or dare?" I ask. "Ummm dare!" "i dare you to Nick and say that you just got a date. " I said. Jack started to giggle. "uh ok." Finn said as he went downstairs. Jack and I sat in silence until he came back. When he came back he just glared at me while I laughed. I swear I caught Jack looking at me.

Jack's POV

Y/n started laughing when Finn came back. I looked at her, her laugh is just so pretty! I got to make a move cuz I think I like her.

(time skip)

Y/n left because she had to finish some homework, but I stayed.

"Dude I totally saw you looking at Y/n!" Finn said as she walked out the door. "No you didn't. You're probably seeing stuff." I said back. He gave me a "I know you're lying" look. "Ok fine I was." I admitted.

"Ooooo you like herrrr!!" Finn teased. I just blushed and looked down. "I know just how to win her over! We've been friends for sooo long, I'll teach you what she likes." Finn suggested.

(Time Skip)

Finn taught me everything about her and I think I'm ready. "Ok dude call her and ask her out!" He said. "What! Really? You think she would say yes?" I asked. "Yeah totally! Did you know when you posted that you got a concussion, she called me straight away. She even sounded worried!" Finn exclaimed. "Really? Awesome! Ok, I'm going to call her now." I said. I dialed her number and pressed call. It rung a few times until she picked up.

(You-Y Jack-J)

Y-Hey Jack! What's up?
J- H-hey. What you doing?
Y- Oh, just more homework, that's why I left Finn's. Are you still there?
(I looked at Finn and he shook his head no.)
J- N-no I'm not. I'm at my house doing homework too. Ya know, got to get them grades!
Y- Are you ok with doing that? With your concussion?
J- Yeah I'm fine.
Y- Are you sure? I could totally do it for you!
J- No it's ok, I'm fine.
Y- oh ok! So any thing else or-
J- Yes! I need to ask you something.
Y- ok! Fire away!
(I looked at Finn again. He gave me a reassuring nod. "Ok here it goes" I thought)
J- would you like to go on a...on a...
Y-On a what?
J- on a date, yes a date!
Y-...
(Oh god oh god)
Y-ok! Where too??
J- uh uh
(I looked at Finn AGAIN and he nodded furiously)
J- um the park! Want to go now?
Y-ok! I'll be there in 15 minuets! Seen you there!
J- yeah see you there!

I need the call and jumped up and started dancing while Finn cheered for me. I did it!!
