Y/n's POV

Ever since Jaeden, Wyatt, and I hung out, Wyatt has been more happier than ever. He stopped frowning and rolling his eyes, and started smiling and always paying attention. I don't know what happened to him, but I love it! He seems much more lively than he did before.

But, sometimes I get upset. It's because my best friend Jaeden hasn't been acting like himself. He's seems different, but not in the good kind.

Anyways, I walked out of my house and down the street to the park. The park is the best place to be during this season, so I go most of the time. I packed some things to keep me busy, as well as a blanket to sit on.

Once I made it there, I found a great place to sit. I laid my blanket out and started to unpack. I took out a book and some snacks to eat later. I started reading the book that Wyatt got specially made for me. It was a journal he wrote about me, and I absolutely love it.

(Time Skip)

After an hour of reading, eating, and just enjoying the weather, I started to get tired. I was getting up to put my things together when I was shoved to the ground. I didn't know who it was, but they were on top of me, doing something that definitely surprised me

Wyatt's POV

I was jogging over to the park to meet my friend Jack, when I saw two people kissing. I wasn't going to bother them, but when I saw a certain book that I remember giving to Y/n. I ran as fast as I could to the pair and immediately pulled the guy off of her.

When I saw who was kissing her, my eyes widened. "Dude! What the heck!" I yelled. "Wyatt, your girl started kissing me!" He exclaimed. "You know dang well that she didn't. She would never, right Y/n?"

She just stood fearfully, with tears slowly falling down her cheeks. "Jae, How could you?" She cried. "I thought you said that there was nothing between you two?" I asked Jaeden trying not to cry or get upset. "Well I lied, there was something between us!" Jaeden exclaimed.

"You lied?" I asked dumbfounded. I don't believe it! Y/n was cheating on me! Jaeden nodded smirking a little. "I have to go.." I said sadly, turning around and running away.

3 months later...

Y/n's POV

When Jaeden kissed me three months ago, I was surprised and angry. He knows I love Wyatt, and I don't know why he told Wyatt there was something between us. Anyways, Wyatt has been ignoring me, badly. He's now super upset and glum, and has pretty much ignoring everyone.

I have been trying to talk to him, but he would just avoid me and keep walking. I need to stop this because he never broke up with me, so we're technically still together.

This time, I'm going to force him because that's the only way. When school ended, I ran straight up to him and grabbed his shoulder. He stopped and when he turned around, he rolled his eyes. He tried to turn around but my grip was stronger than he thought.

"Wy, I ne-" "Don't call me that!" Wyatt snapped. "Fine, Wyatt, I need to talk to you. It's urgent." I sighed hoping he would give in. "I'm busy." He said.
"No you're not, just let me....please?" I pleaded softly. "Fine, but you have one minute." Wyatt stated.

"Ok, that day, when you saw Jaeden kissing me, and he said there was something between us..there wasn't. I was only hanging out with him because he was my best friend, and he thought you were going to hurt me. Once I guess he 'lied' you became all happy, and I didn't know why. I loved it Wyatt, I loved seeing how happy you were that there was nothing between Jaeden and I. But when you heard from him that we were apparently hooking up, we never did. He probably lied to protect me, he always does.

Now that you've been ignoring me, it's made me really upset to see you like this. I never meant to hurt you if I did. But I want you to know that I love you and I've always had. I would never dream of cheating on you, so I hope you would forgive me." I finished my explanation with a sigh. Wyatt just stood there with a mixed expression of shock, anger, and sympathy.

"Oh my god, now I feel like an idiot." Wyatt sighed covering his face with his hands, silently crying. I took his hands and pulled them away from his face. "You're not an idiot Wyatt, If anything I am. I didn't realized that you were having second thoughts about my loyalty." I said. "No no, I'm the idiot." Wyatt said trying not to smile.

"Fine, then we're both idiots. Wy, we can be idiots together."
