Imagine: Finn ignores you for 12 years, but what happens when he comes back and doesn't recognize you?

Finn and I have been best friends since I could remember. We also had a another best friend, Alexa, who we met in 3rd grade. We three would spend our days hanging out at our houses and just joking around.

Until one day in 6th grade, everything changed.

*Flashback*

Finn, Alexa, and I were at my house, cleaning. The three of us wanted money so we could buy a new guitar because Finn broke his. Alexa and I know how much he loves to play, so we are helping him raise money because that's what friends do so....this is what we're doing.

Alexa and I are cleaning all the windows, while Finn was inside cleaning the kitchen countertops. I was wiping the water off when an idea popped in my head.

"Alexa? Let's sneak out. I need to tell you something important." I said while looking over to her. "Yeah let's go! I bet Finn wouldn't notice." she agreed. "I do know a tree we could climb down the street. It's perfect!" I exclaimed. "Yes! Let's go!"

We snuck away and down the street to a huge tree. We climbed up and sat on one of the thick branches. "What do you need to tell me?" Alexa asked. "Well..I sort have a crash on y'know Finn?" it came out more of a question then a statement. "Thats what you wanted to tell me? Y/n, I already knew!" Alexa admitted.

"What! How?" I asked surprised. "You're always look at him with heart eyes and blushing a lot too. Your secret is safe with me." Alexa said. "Thanks, Alexa. But I don't think I'm ever going to ask him out." I said with a frown. "Its ok! You don't have to rush." Alexa smiled. I smiled back and nodded.

(A week later)

I walked into school with Finn, since we live right next to each other. This is because our moms were best friends in middle school and decided to be neighbors. Also you should know that Finn and I were born on the same day. ( I'm getting some Kissing Both vibes. *Go watch that movie on Netflix it was great!*)

As we were walking, the most popular girl in our school, Britney, came up to us. "Hey Finn, can I talk to you for a sec?" Britney asked in a flirting matter. "Uhh I guess so. See ya later, n/n." He said while walking off with her. I sighed and walked to my locker where Alexa was waiting.

"What was Britney doing with Finn?" Alexa question. "Apparently, she wants to talk to him." I soffed, clearly annoyed.

(Time Skip)

I was just laying on the couch when my phone started to ring. I looked at it to see that Finn was calling me. "Wonder what this is about." I mumbled to myself. I picked up the phone and was greeted by a very excited Finn.

(Finn-F You-Y)

F- Y/n! Y/n! Guess what?!
Y- What Finn?
F- So, you know how Britney wanted to talk to me this morning?
Y- Yeah...?
F- Well, SHE ASKED ME OUT! Isn't this great?!
Y- Yeah great. *sarcasm*
F- This is great! My first real girlfriend!
Y- yeah it sure is.
F- What should I do? Should I get her something or-
Y- Finn, I dont think that's nesasary.
F- Oh uh ok well...im going to go call her now! Bye!

The call ended before I could every say 'bye'. What has gotten into him? I was so mad and had to rant. So, I called Alexa and told her everything. She was a little upset too, but not as much as me. I mean, I still have a huge crush on him so....
