Chapter 2.

|2 hours later|

When we arrived at the college I went inside so that they could tell me my dorm room number, they gave me my room key. I walked out and back to the car "well this is it" I got my things out of the cat

"Yes it is" Diana said smiling
"I'm gonna miss you not being at home, but for now this is your new home"

"Yeah, I'm gonna miss you too" I out the box down to embrace her in a huge hug

"This isn't goodbye, it's more like a see you later" I smiled

"Yeah I guess so, but I'm visiting whenever I can" she hugged me again

"Okay cool"

"I should go now" she nodded

I walked back to the door before looking back and waving to Diana, she waved back with a big smile of her face.

|Later that day|

They were having some sort of assembly for the new students so I decided to attend, I took the nearest available seat I saw.

There was a girl on the stage, she was amazingly beautiful "Hello everyone, my name is Ariana Bowman and welcome to UNC Chapel Hill. We are so happy that you all chose to go here to learn and pursue your dreams."

She talked for a good 10 or 15 minutes before we could leave, as I was walking back to my dorm I was stopped by someone

"Hi there" she said

"Hey, your Ariana right?" I said

"Yep, and you are?"

"Liam, Liam Clark" I smiled and we shook hands

"Follow me" she said

I frowned "I don't even know you so why should I follow you?" I tried to read her mind but I couldn't, something was blocking me out

"Just do it" she said, she started walking off

'What's the harm, I've got nothing else to do so let's see where she wants to take me' I thought to myself

"Fine" I sighed and followed her

She led me somewhere outside and we stopped in a huge courtyard "let's cut to the chase, I know who you are and I know what you can do" she folded her arms

"Of course you know who I am because I just told you a few minutes ago. I'm Liam Clark an ordinary guy."

"Liam Clark yes, ordinary no"

I took of my book bag

"What do you want"

"You, I am apart of a group called the Avengers, you're familiar with them right?" She said

"Yes"

"Well I have orders to bring you in, what do you say?"

I looked at her "No"

"You see I can't really take no for an answer"

I walked up to her, we were face to face "oh, I understand"

She smiled and spoke into a earpiece she had "Cap I've got him, we're coming back now" I couldn't hear his response

"Hey I said I understood, I didn't say I was going with you"

I saw her eyes widen as I used my telekinetic powers to send her flying across the courtyard and she hit back first on the wall. I took off running because I remembered what my father said 'avoid shield at all times' I heard his voice in my head.
