I am Gifted

Chapter 7.

I sat with stark and Natasha in a small conference room, when I spoke to Steve he told me he had to go. I didn't know he was going to go after Bucky right then and there. Mr.Stark was on the phone with God knows who and Natasha was talking with some other agents. A few people I wasn't familiar with walked in the room, with them was Steve and Sam and to my surprise the prince of Wakanda T'Challa.

"See this is what making things worse looks like" Natasha said

"Consequences you bet their will be consequences, obviously you can quote me on it because I just said it anything else? Thank you sir" Stark hung the phone up

"Consequences?" Steve said

"Secretary wants you both prosecuted, had to give him something"

"I'm not getting that shield back am I?"

"Technically it's the governments property, wings too" Natasha said

"That's cold" Sam said with a smirk

"Warmer than jail" stark said, they began walking towards the room I was in

Steve and a lady named Sharon were discussing bucky during his evaluation

"Why would they release these photos to the public?"

"To get the word out, involve as many eyes as they can" she said

"Right, good way to flush a guy out of hiding" Steve said

"So you're saying someone framed him to find him"

"Steve we looked for the guy for two years and found nothing" Sam added

"We didn't bomb the UN, turns a lot of heads"

"But that doesn't guarantee that whoever framed him would get him, it guarantees that we would"

I heard their conversation but didn't say anything. All of a sudden the lights turned off, maybe the power went out or something. 

"Sub-level 5, east wing"

Sam and Steve ran out the room, I did the same but I didn't follow the two of them. I followed Tony and Natasha

"Tell me you brought a suit" Natasha said

"Yep, it's a lovely one" Tony answered

"Liam, we might need you as well" Tony said

"Yeah" I followed them through a path which seems like it lead outside somewhere

Once we reached the end of the path there were sounds of metal hitting peoples flesh and groaning sounds. It was Bucky beating up soldiers

Natasha, Tony and I exchanged quick looks and spread out. Tony went out first, I watched as Tony stunned him for a second but was quickly taken down. Sharon was also there, her and Natasha went next, they seemed like they were getting somewhere, but Sharon was put through a table and Natasha was being strangled to death so I had to help her.

I threw a small lightning bolt at Bucky which was enough for him to release his grip from Nats throat and set his sights on me. The objective was to restrain him not hurt him.

'All I had to do was take over his mind, it shouldn't be hard right?' I said to myself

Bucky was coming for me and I'm not gonna lie he did look scary as hell, but I couldn't back down

Closed my eyes and looked into his head, I saw many things. He was trapped inside himself trying to break free from whatever had taken over his mind. It was a lot, I could feel my energy depleting due to using my powers harder than I should. I managed to show him a memory from his past which seemed to work (not for long). Whatever took over his mind had a good grip on him because he quickly broke free from the memories I showed.
