We walked into the Victorian era themed bar. There was a large crowd, but the temperature in the room was still cool so that people wouldn't faint with dehydration.
"Jin hyung what do you think?" I asked my hyung.
"I wasn't expecting that much to be honest, but this place has definitely passed my expectations! Can you believe that one of the owners is twenty-five years old?!" he asked.
"I mean I'm twenty-five years old so why not?" I asked laughing.
He froze.
"Your twenty-five?" hyung asked.
"Yeah you didn't know?" I replied.
"I didn't realize I was five years older than you," he said.
We walked to the bar counter and flagged down a waitress.
"What can I get for you guys?" she asked.
Se froze when her eyes met mine.
"Were here for a meeting with your CEOs," I said.
"R-right. I apologize for not recognizing you Mr. Jeon," she said.
I accepted her apology and followed her to a locked elevator. With her keys she unlocked the padlock and pushed the button. We rode the elevator to the second floor, which turned into an office where workers roamed freely. As we strolled down the office halls Jin hyung slung his hand over my shoulders.
"Are you alright?" I asked.
"Just nervous," he replied.
I chuckled.
"Is this your first time meeting with important people?" I asked.
"Well no, but I always get nervous," he replied.
When I laughed again he tightened his grip around my neck nervously.
"Don't worry about anything hyung," I reassured him.
The woman stopped in front of a large door and knocked before heading inside and leaving the door open for us. I saw a large man with blonde hair and glasses who gave us a friendly wave. The woman left the room and closed the door on her way out.
"Hello my name is Kim Namjoon and I'm one of the owners of L'arc," Mr. Namjoon said gripping my hand tightly.
"My name is Jeon Jungkook, CEO of Privilege, and this is my best executive chef Kim Seokjin," I said.
"Hello," hyung said nervously.
He blushed at my compliment.
"Please take your seats. My partner will join us shortly," Mr. Namjoon said.
"We came here to discuss the specifics in this partnership and to determine if this will actually work out," I said.
"If I'm correct you wanted a partnership to combine your food business with our alcohol business," Mr. Namjoon stated.
"That's right. Jin and I came here in hopes of tasting some of your collection to see if you have what we want," I clarified.
"We have a wide variety of older and more refined alcohol choices to suit older people and young adventurers. From what I've gathered on your public profiles I strongly believe our business would suit your restaurants," Mr. Namjoon said.
"If you insist, but we'd like to make sure of that ourselves," hyung said.
"Not a problem. When my partn-" Mr. Namjoon said.
The door opened and shut.
"Sorry I'm late I had to organize something for later today," a deep familiar voice said.
I froze and didn't dare turn around. The man slowly approached the desk we were all gathered around and I gulped. Alarm bells were ringing in my head and I broke out in a cold sweat.
"Did you know this guy is hot? Who's nervous now?" Jin giggled.
I turned to him and gave him a stare which meant I was dead serious. His eyes widened and were filled with curiosity.
"My name is Kim Taehyung. I'm the second CEO of L'arc," Mr. Kim said.
When I looked up our eyes clashed. Time froze and I clamped my mouth shut. Gone was the teenager I knew at Cyber University. The man in front of me wasn't fragile, hurt, or weak; but, Taehyung looked confident, sexy, and ambitious.
"Jung-Jungkook?" his voice strained.
I couldn't take the heat anymore. I walked about of the room ignoring Jin. I heard footsteps follow me, but I didn't stop walking until I was standing on a balcony.
