Lost and Found

A start to a new day

She opened her heavy eye lids to the feeling of someone touching her shoulder.
" Friend Raven, it is time for the breakfast!" A cheerful voice said.
She groaned. She was so tired. " Star What time is it?"
" It is eight in the morning. Cyborg made you a plate." She looked at the little table next to the med wing bed. It has two eggs, bacon and a cup of herbal tea. She smiled. She hasn't had a breakfast like that in a long time.
" Can you help me to the kitchen Starfire."
" Friend Raven you must stay in bed. You are not fully healed."
" I'm fine. I just need a little help to walk."
" Do you promise you are the okay?" She looked at her friend in worry.
" Yes! Now help me up!" She growled.
Raven put an arm around Starfire's shoulder and put her weight on her feet. She felt a sharp pain in her side.
"Damn it.."She growled.
" Did I do something wrong?"
" No. Just walk."
Step by step the two walked to the kitchen and when the doors flew open they all looked at her with shocked faces. Starfire slowly sat Raven on the couch in front of the T.V.
"I will go back and retrieve your plate." Starfire said with a grin. She was so happy to have her friend back.
She leaned back in the couch, taking in the smell. It still smelled the same. If brought comfort to her and she nuzzled into the back of the couch.
"I bet you missed the couch." Robin said sitting next to her.
" I sure did. I feels so good to be home."
" We missed you Raven, deeply. I'm so glad that you are back." Raven smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck pulling him into a tight hug. He hugged her back.
" I missed you guys too." She said as a few tears fell on his uniform. She unwrapped her arms and smiled at him. After a few moments Starfire returned with her food.
" I hope you like the tea." Robin said scratching the back of his head. " Beastboy and I tried our hardest to make it." She smiled a soft smile.
" Thanks." He smiled a half grin and got up to head in the kitchen. She took a sip of her tea. The strong flavor warmed her insides. It's been forever since she had tea. And the food tasted so good. She tried to savor the flavor but she ended eating it very quickly. After she was done she tried to stand up but she didn't have the strength in her legs to do it.
"Shit..." She cursed under her breathe.
" Well don't you sound happy?" She heard Beastboy say from behind her.
" Yeah yeah, can you take the plate for me?" She asked with a smirk.
" Why of course!" He said with a tease. She rolled her eyes as he took the plate then came back a few moments after. He sat on the couch and turned the Xbox on.
" You still play the Xbox?" She said resting her head on his shoulder.
"You say that like it's a bad thing." He said as he started to play a game.
It was silent for awhile, but it was a good silent. Not the awkward kind. It was peaceful. She watched him play. She didn't understand how he found this fun but she just let it go. She closed her eyes as the tiredness before was now returning. After a few moments sleep took over her. He looked over and saw she fell asleep with her head rested on his shoulder. He grinned to himself but it quickly went away.
"She probably got close to no sleep while she was gone." He thought to himself. It broke his heart to think of what she went through. To see all the bruises down her arms and legs.
After about thirty minutes she finally woke up.
"Sleep well?" He said with a toothy grin.
" I guess." She said with a yawn. She sighed and laid back but then her eyes widened when she thought of something. "My room..." She thought to herself.
" Hey can I ask you something?" She said looking at her green friend. He paused his game and sat down the controller.
" Ask away." He said with a half grin.
" Can I see my room?"
