Lost and Found

Outside

Raven ran to her room and sighed deeply. She didn't really want to go out at the moment but she couldn't let Starfire down. In her closet she pulled out a pair of black jeans and a white top with a black star in the middle. She took off her leotard and looked at herself in her undergarments in the mirror she had in her room. She still had bruises left over from before. The long scar in her forearm that will never go away, all she saw was a freak that needed help.
"I don't know what he see's about me, I'm a disgrace to look at." Her father always told her that as a child, that she was nothing but evil and that's all she ever believed. It was so hard to think different. Her eyes teared up thinking how much her friends have helped her and accepted her.
She got dressed and walked out of her room and Beastboy was waiting in the hallway.
"I didn't see you in the kitchen, are you okay?" He asked with a worried tone.
"Yeah. Yeah I'm good." She said with a grin.
"Wow you look beautiful, where are you going looking all nice?"
"Starfire asked me to go to the mall with her and I accepted."
"Alrighty I'll be here when you get back. Have fun!" He said kissing her cheek and hugging her tightly.
She entered the room to see Starfire waiting on the couch.
"Friend Raven! You look beautiful!"
"Thank you Starfire, you look beautiful as well."
"Shall we go then? I am most excited." Raven nodded and headed to the door. They both got in the t-car and Starfire started the car.
"You know how to drive?" Raven asked with one eyebrow raised.
"Oh yes, friend Robin showed me how. It is quite simple. Way easier than the transportation on Tamaran." She said pressing the garage door button. She pressed the gas and they started down the road.
"So what is the store you will be doing the shopping at?" Starfire asked in curiosity.
"I don't know... you can pick what stores you want."
"If that is what you wish." She said giving her a smile.
After they walked into the all of the stores and Starfire knew Raven was holding something back.
"Do you wish to take a break? There is a place with food down there." She pointed to the big sign that said 'Food Court' and Raven sighed in relief. She loved being with starfire, but it just seemed to much at the time.
They sat down and Starfire of course ordered a milkshake with mustard packets. Raven just dipped her normal tea.
"Thank you for coming with me today. It made me the most joyful!" Starfire said with shiny eyes.
"You're welcome, It's fun." Her finger ran up and down her cup.
"So I see you and Beastboy have been together a lot lately, before you two would always have arguments" she giggled. Raven blushed and smiled thinking about him.
"Yeah, you could say that." Her hand gripped her cup tightly. Starfire smiled widely.
"You too are together! He is your boyfriend!" She almost jumped out of her seat.
"Yes, but calm down. Yes we are together. He helped me through a lot of my problems."
"Glorious! I am most excited for you two!" She grinned widely.
"Yeah... me too."
