OARK's P.O.V.

I was awakened by the alarm of my cellular phone. It is 6 a.m. I am late for the basketball practice.

For sure coach Min will be mad at me again but of course he can't do anything. I'm the star of our team and apple of the eye of our team manager.

"Oark, you just got up? What time is your practice?" It was mom asking me while she is cooking egg for breakfast.

"The call time is 7 a.m. I think coach Min and my teammates are already in the gym," I responded to her.

"So why are you not in a hurry? Aren't you concerned that your coach will scold you? You're always late," my mom inquired.

"Nah he will not get mad at me. I'm the star player mom," I boasted.

"You're too confident. Be mindful of others.
You better hurry now," mom reminded me.

I ate the egg mom cooked and had a sip of coffee before leaving. I also told her I'll be home for dinner.

When I arrived at the gym, the guys are already practicing. As expected coach Min scolded me for being late.

"Coach, common don't be harsh on me"
"Oark, you should be punctual. You need to discipline your self"
"I'm trying. I'm trying very hard"
"Oark even your the most valuable player, if you have a bad character, then it would be useless"
"All right boss! I'll go change now and join the boys okay?"

After the practice I received a phone call from my dad on Line App.

"Hey you big boy? How was the practice?"
"Dad! It was good!"
"That's nice to hear. Will you be free tonight?"
"I'll be home for diner why?"
"My friend Mr. Watakeekul will be meeting me tonight and he wants me to bring you"
"Will it take long dad?"
"Not really. So will you come with me?"
"Okay I'll just tell mom that we will be late then.

Mr.Watakeekul is a wealthy businessman and he is my father's best friend. He is a nice person but his son Beep, I don't like him.

He is boastful and always seeks attention. He is  into soccer and yah like me, he is famous.

We arrived at the restaurant where we will be meeting Mr. Watakeekul. He was clad in black suit, while my dad was in his military uniform.

Before we could reach our table, fans started swooning over me for picture taking and autographs. I saw my dad's reaction while shaking his head.

He went ahead to the table and left me with the fans who seems to want every piece of me. Well, I'm used to this already because wherever I go, this is always the scenario.

"Sorry Mr. Watakeekul"
"It's okay Oark, I can relate. Beep is also being ganged up on by fans wherever we go"
"So is he coming here with us?"
"I think he will be here in a while"

So that bastard is coming. He will be eating with us. Seriously? I don't like this guy really.

We were eating when all of a sudden women and children came rushing to the entrance and when I checked what it was, I saw they were surrounding Beep.

This guy is really getting into my nerves. We always compete in a lot of aspects. I remember when we were five, he pushed me and doesn't want to play with me.

I promised my self to be better than him. Apparently, we are of the same level, same status and same amount of fame.

I think he saw where we are sitting and he is approaching now.
