CHAPTER 18: TRAGEDY

BEEP's P.O.V.

Blue and I brought our father to the hospital, unfortunately, he did not make it. It was a devastating event for our family.

Bin didn't show up to the funeral of our father. The police was also looking for him because Blue filed a case against him for squandering our company's money.

"Blue, I brought you food"

"I don't feel like eating"

"You need to eat Blue, otherwise, you will get sick also".

"Beep, where do you think Bin is?"

"I don't know either".

"He need to show up and own his faults, Beep"

"This should not be happening in or family Blue. We should not be tear apart because of anger and greed"

"Dad is gone but we are still here, both of us. We need to support each other"

Moments went by one of our helpers informed us that Oark's family arrived. When I saw Oark, I immediately hugged him.

Many members of the press arrived at the area where my father's funeral is held. Oark's father viewed my dad's body inside the casket and wept.

Despite feeling awkward, I went to him and started a conversation.

"You're father was a good man, Beep"

"Yes he was no doubt about that"

"He was the brother I never had"

"Where ever dad is, I know he is looking at us right now"

"You're Dad was a loving person. He loved the three of you unconditionally"

I and Oark's father are both emotional now as we reminisce dad's beautiful life. It would be hard for all of us but we need to be strong.

BIN's P.O.V.

I was just outside our house  looking at the visitors who come to visit Dad's wake. I wanted to see him for the last time but I am afraid.

In fact I needed to wear this red bull cap and jacket to conceal my identity. That good-for-nothing Gum also left me even though he said he will be with me through thick and thin.

He also took the money I squandered and transferred to his personal account. He is now missing and I am alone in this battle.

I was about to leave when policemen arrived and one of them were able to recognise me.

I attempted  to run but it was too late. They caught me. The commotion of my arrest caught the attention of Beep and Blue who immediately went out from our house.

"Finally, you're arrested"

"I'm sorry Blue, I wasn't a good brother to you and Beep"

"It's too late to apologise now Bin, our father, I mean my father is dead because of you"

"I know it's hard for you guys to accept my apologies for now but I wish that one day, you two will find in your hearts to forgive me"

"Officer, bring this man to jail"

"Wait, I want to see dad before they bring me to jail Blue"

"No need Bin, Officer please take him"

Blue stood firm to his decision not to allow me to see dad for the last time but Beep contradicted him in favour of me.

"P' Blue, I think we should allow Bin to see dad. Anyway, if dad was here he would easily forgive him"

"No Beep, he is the reason why our father died and he is also the reason why our company lost millions"

"P' Blue, he is still our brother and he is still part of our family"

"No! Not anymore Beep. Why do you take his side? Don't you know he hated you so much?"

"Pee, I'm not taking his side. If he hates me, it's up to him. I just want to make our father happy by seeing us three together"
