BEEP's P.O.V.

Why is Oark here? Is he hitting on Boon also? This can't be. I won't permit it. Of all the people. Why Oark?

"Hey Oark, are you hitting on Boon?"
"Yes why? Are you?"
"If I were you, you retreat. I'll win over you Oark"
"Haha...Don't be too sure Beep."
"Just so you know Oark, we've been dating for five months now"
"Really? We have been dating for seven months now Beep"
"So none of us will retreat from this battle? Oark?"
"I guess not"
"If that's the case, let the war begin and may the best man win"

I offered a hand shake and Oark reach for my hand signifying that in this game, where the price will be Boon, all will be fair and square.

"Boss, you'll be competing with Oark for Boon?" my assistant asked.
"Yes I will." I said.
"Are you sure about that?" he asked again.
"Yes I am sure about it", I declared.

As expected, Oark and I competed for Boon's attention.

Sometimes they go out on a date and there were times that Boon goes out for a date with me.

Both Oark and I are serious on this. Boon is a real catch. A famous actress who have appeared in a lot of successful Lakorn dramas.

On top of that, she's a prime product endorser and was once voted as the sexiest woman in Thailand. So who wouldn't run after her.

It's good thing she forgave Oark and I for keeping her wait for more than an hour last time.

I better fix my self now. I will be attending the Thai Sports Media Awards tonight. Well, I was nominated as athlete of the year  and guess with whom?

Yes, I was nominated with Oark. It's not a surprise though because I would say both of us are best athletes in Thailand of today's generation.

I arrived at the venue all suited up. Of course photographers and the media trooped to me and asked for interviews.

Smile here, smile there, waive here and waive there. Then a familiar voice called my name and when I looked back to see who it was, it was "Oark"

"Oark! Good to see you," I then gave him a hug, for a show.
"Beep, I'm happy to see you also," he said while we are hugging.

One of the photographers then asked us to post for a picture together. Oark and I smiled and also did the, what you call it? Finger hearts!

"Of all the people to be with in a photo," Oark said while smiling.
"Duh! As if you think I like to have a picture with you," I said.
"I really hate it when people compare me to you," he said while still smiling.
"Me too, we are not of the same level. I'm more popular," I also said while smiling
"Dream on," Oark teased

We were lead to our tables then. My table was beside Oark's table. Moments later, our category was called.

"The winner for athlete of the year, oh winners, are Beep Watakeekul and Oark Onruang," the presenter announced.

I  as shocked not b cause I won because I was already anticipating it. But I was shocked because Oark also won.

How did they evaluated the winner? I mean I was more involved in charitable works than he is. We both are visible in commercials but I had the edge since I let my team win in FIFA.

Oark and I went up the stage to get our trophies.We were standing side-by-side. He got his trophy before me so he spoke first.

"I would like to thank my family, my fans and my special someone. Boon Lachiwat, thank you for the inspiration"
