OARK's P.O.V.
After Beep and I came out as a couple, we hurdled several challenges both in our personal and professional careers.
Since then Beep and I seemed to have been ostracised.
Our teammates feel awkward towards us and our coaches won't give us the playing time just like before.
Our commercial endorsements have been affected and our popularity as well. Before, whenever we're on public, fans swoon over us, now we are being ignored.
Beep and I have also decided to live together since our families are also opposed to our relationship.
"Beep, do you think we made a wrong decision of coming out?"
"Huh? Why do you ask that?"
"Well... there has been so many changes since we came out as a couple. I mean drastic changes"
"Oark, we did the right thing. If we kept our relationship then we are not being true to ourselves"
"Look, everything we worked for is little by little gone, our careers and our popularity"
"Is it more important Oark?"
"Of course not, but I can't stop from thinking about it"
"Stop thinking about it. Let's focus on what we have and what we are today. What is important is we are together."
"You're right Beep, anyway people will eventually understand our situation"
"They will and they must"
A gay magazine contacted Beep and I and asked us if we want to be their cover for the next month's issue.
"So what do you think Beep?"
"I don't know, what do you think?"
"Mmm... it seems okay it's a glossy magazine anyway."
"Oark, if it's okay with you then it's okay with me as well"
We went to the editorial office of the magazine. On their wall are the different covers, there's Max and Tul, Tay and New, Earth and New, Off and Gun and Singto and Krist.
"Welcome Oark and Beep," the male managing editor welcomed us.
"Thank you," Beep said.
"How do you find the covers of the magazine? Those were our models. They are BL couples," he told us.
"Excuse me sir, we're not BL couples, why have you chosen us?" I inquired.
"You're not BL couples but you are a real couple. We found your love story very interesting, so we decided to tap you as our cover models," the managing editor explained.
"Those photo shoot were too revealing," Beep noticed.
"Yes, and if you don't mind, you will have the same photo shoot for the magazine cover also," the managing editor revealed.
"When are we going to have the photo shoot?" Beep asked.
"Next week? Are you available?" the marketing manager told us.
We geared up for the photo shoot. We spent time to the gym.
The day of the photo shoot came. We were instructed to go to a hotel. We entered one of the hotel rooms and all is set.
"Are you guys ready for the photo shoot?" the photographer asked.
"Yes we are," I replied.
"Okay remove your clothes now," the photographer ordered.
"Why are we going to remove our clothes?" I asked.
"This will be a naked photo shoot," he announced.
"Naked?" I again asked, this time in disbelief.
"Wait, this is not we were told," Beep object.
"Beep, you and Oark are no longer the celebrities that you used to be, you don't have the right to say no now. You signed a contract," the photographer explained.
"Beep, common lets just do this," I encouraged him.
We had the photo shoot. The first take was on bed, we were naked and we were just covering ourselves with blankets.
The next photo shoot was a shower scene and the last one was at the balcony. I felt really degraded but we need this to uplift our careers.
