CHAPTER 8: CONFUSION

I decided to leave the place after hearing Boon's conversation in her phone. It was Beep I think that she was talking to.

She was inviting him for diner? What the hell? I thought we are together. I thought she chose me over him.

I was driving on my way home confused and as if the road was just nothing but an empty space.

I want to cry, I want to burst in anger but I can't. I feel nothing but pure confusion and pain.

I passed by Siam Center where the bill board of Beep is being displayed. Beside it, I saw my own bill board. I remember the marketing head of the underwear brand I'm promoting told me they will release my billboard today.

I stopped for a while, get out of my car and glanced at my bill board. People begun to recognise me and rushed towards me for autographs and pictures.

I'm not in the mood to entertain them right now. I want to send them away but I couldn't I have a "goodie" image to maintain.

My phone rang and when I checked it, it's Boon calling me on my Line App. I didn't answer her call and instead sent her a message saying I went ahead because I had an emergency meeting with my team.

She didn't responded anymore, well actually I don't care if she won't reply.

A men's magazine asked me to become one of their cover boys for this month's issue. I was told that I am not alone but I didn't bother to ask them anymore whose the other cover boy.

I went to the office of that men's magazine to met with the editor. As I went inside the office, I met there two famous Thai actors.

I was introduced to Earth Pirawat and New Thitipoom, the lead stars of "Water Boyyy the series".

They will also be in the cover of the magazine after us. We took pictures and chat a little and later went ahead.

"Who will be my partner for the cover?" I asked the male Editor.
"Oh, he's also into sports and I think you know him as well," he said
"Really? Is he a basketball player also?" I asked further.
"Actually no, he is a football player," he revealed.
"Don't tell me it's Beep Watakeekul?" I was almost raising my voice.
"Yes, it's him," the editor confirmed.
"No, I won't do it. Not with him," I said as I shook my head.
"But why? I mean you just said in your previous interview that you are in good terms right?" the editor wondered.

We were discussing when Beep who just arrived, butted in.

"Yah, why don't you want to be on the same magazine cover with me?"

"I have the right to choose whom I want to be in the cover with, Beep, and I don't like to be with you"

"So you mean you have an issue with me?"

"I don't have any issue with you Beep, maybe you have issues with me"

I stood up and went to him. At this time we were already facing each other. Our faces are inches away.

At this juncture, the editor pacified us because we are on the verge of getting into a skirmish.

"Ah boys, relax, chill... this is my office and not a boxing ring"

Beep and I were not moving we stood still and stare at each other while our fists are ready to throw punches to one another anytime.

"Okay, I warn you guys, I'll call the security if you guys will continue to be like this"
