I woke up on the couch, still wrapped in Shawn's arms. I smiled and almost started to laugh. I would never have imagined myself in this position two days ago. It's amazing what a rainy day can change.

I maneuvered my way out of Shawn's clutch and made my way to the kitchen, thinking of what I could make for breakfast. Deciding on muffins, I get out the ingredients and get to work.

I put the muffins in the oven, and to my surprise, Shawn is still not up. He must be a very deep sleeper. I decided to go ahead and take a shower while the muffins are baking.

I walk to the bathroom and cut on the water. When it gets warm enough, I strip and get it. I let the water run onto my back for a little while before washing my hair and body and getting out. I had just wrapped myself up in a towel before Shawn's head pokes through the door.

"Shawn!" I scream. He starts to chuckle before opening the door some more and walking in. I start to blush, realizing that I am only in a towel, and the towel is not big at all. He tucks a strand of my wet hair behind my ear and kisses my cheek.

"Thank you for making muffins. I took them out before they burned. Did you know that they were my favorite?"

I smiled, happy that he was happy. "Yes, I did. And you're welcome."

He smiled and gave me a kiss before walking out. Right before he closed the door, he poked his head in again.

"Next time, wait for me." I roll my eyes and throw a hand towel at his face.

Since neither one of us had to work for the rest of the week ( they closed down the office for renovations), we decided to spend our week together. After breakfast, he took his shower and went to his apartment to get some clothes. While he was gone, I put on my makeup and cleaned the kitchen. We were going to go shopping today, and I did not want to come home to a smelly kitchen.

"Honey, I'm home!" I giggled as Shawn walked through the door. I ran to greet him, giving him a big hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"You act like you haven't seen me in forever!" He laughed. I smiled up at him. We stood like that for a moment when my phone started to ring. I sighed before getting it from off of my bed and answering it.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Rebecca!" Jessi's cheerful voice came through the other end of the phone. I smiled. I haven't talked to her in a while, and I'm happy to hear her voice again.

"Hi, Jessi! What's up?"

"I just got invited to a party tonight. Want to come?"

I bit my bottom lip. I don't like parties, especially ones where you end up drunk and in someone else's bed. However, Jessi seemed really excited.

"I don't know. I don't like parties, and I promised my boyfriend that I would spend the week with him."

"Ok, first of all, what boyfriend? Second of all, why don't you like parties?"

I sighed. I totally forgot to tell Jessi about last night.

"Do you remember that guy that was staring at me at that coffee shop? That I have a huge crush on but also hate? Yeah, he asked me out last night."

She squealed. I had to pull the phone away from my ear, in fear that I would lose my hearing in that ear.

"Ok, ok. Anyway, I'm off of work this week, so I promised him that I would spend the week with him. I'm sorry."

She was quiet for a moment, before taking a deep breath and speaking again.

"Well, I guess you should. But we will meet up for lunch one day this week, ok? We will."

I held my hands up in defeat, even though she couldn't see me. "Ok! Bye, Jessi. Love you!"

"Love you too! Don't get into any trouble, alright?" I laughed and hung up the phone.
