*2 years later*

Rebecca's P. O. V.

"Miss. Rebecca! I need you to sign these forms, please."

I turned around to see my assistant, Rose, following me with a clipboard. I smiled, taking the pen from her and signing the papers.

"Ok... done. Anything else, Rose?" She shook her head, and I made my way to my office.

I got into the elevator and made my way to my office. I remembered walking down this same hallway to interview for my job. That seemed like ages ago, but now here I am.

I had gotten a promotion, so now I had Mr. Rogers' job. I was the manager of this company, and to be honest, it was amazing. To know that I worked my way from a magazine photographer to the manager of one of the biggest photography companies in the United States is awesome.

I sat down at my desk, staring down at the people walking below. Whenever I took this job, I specifically asked to keep my old office and studio. I didn't want to give up the memories. I looked down at my hand and played with the ring on my finger.

Shawn and I were engaged and are going to get married in a few months. We decided to be friends for a while, but after a year we decided to try it again. And, after a year of dating, here we are.

James and Jessi are still my really good friends. James and I obviously decided to stay friends, but it worked out because now he is married with a newborn. Jessi, well, she's still 'as single as a Pringle'.

I leaned back in my chair, thinking about how much my life had changed in the past few years. At first, I hated Shawn, but now I love him. I meet Jessi by bumping into her, and we have been inseparable ever since. I meet James at 2 o'clock in the morning, but we are best friends.

I heard a knock on my door. I looked up to see a smiling Shawn, holding two cups of coffee.

"Hey. How's work?" He asked, kissing me on the cheek.

"Great, I was just about to head home. Are you done already?"

"Yeah, the meeting only lasted a couple of minutes. I thought I would get you some coffee."

I smiled. "Thanks, Shawn." I stood up and kissed him, putting my arms around his neck. He pulled away and looking into my eyes.

"I can't wait to marry you."

I blushed. "Same to you, Mendes."

We both smiled, and looked out the window, just in time for the sunset.

And right then, at that moment, that was the only place I wanted to be.
