Lock and Key

Description:

Lock and Key.

He gave me the key while I gave him the lock. Without the key the lock won't open. And without the lock the key won't turn.

"Yui-chan!" a red haired boy cried. "What's the matter Ayato-kun?!" a girl with blonde hair asks as Ayato kept running. "Yui-chan!" Ayato panted.

"Your the key," and he gave her a golden key with white crystals. "And your the lock," Yui said as she gave him a golden lock with brown spirals and a few white crystals. "Together we will unlock the things that are kept hidden and discover secrets that are kepted behind the walls of our will." Yui and Ayato finished. They smiled and parted ways.

Is this goodbye forever? I pondered. But why? Why did he leave?!

I can't let her find out about me. I can't let her find out that her best friend is a blood sucking monster.

Yui and Ayato were best friends. But once they reached age 10, Ayato suddenly leaves. Leaving Yui confused and curious to why he left. But before he left they made a promise.

A deal.

Ayato gave Yui a golden key, and Yui gave Ayato a golden lock. They made a powerful promise as the sun sets.

But after 7 years what will happen once they meet again? Will the Lock and Key remember each other or will they go their separate ways again?

Always and Forever, eh? Or Broken and Alone?
