~Izuku's POV~

I can't stop thinking about how I humiliated myself in front of Kacchan.... I just wanted to find a way to become his friend again. But I guess I have to keep trying. I gathered my belongings and headed to school.
As I entered the building, the sound of chatter filled my ears. Something about just walking and listening to my surroundings really calms me down. I could almost forget about how nervous I was to see Kacchan's face... until I heard him in the hall. He was having an argument with Todoroki, although it was mostly one sided. I snuck past them and entered the classroom.
"Hey Deku!" Uraraka greeted me in her usual cheery voice.
"Hey."
"Did you hear about the second part for Aizawa sensei's test?" She asked.
"There's a second part?" I furrowed my brows.
"Apparently it's about keeping calm in a stressful situation. You know, like keeping your head clear instead of buckling under pressure or acting by your own personal agenda." She explained, I nodded.
Kacchan bursted through the door, still arguing with Todoroki. "I can keep calm in any situation!" He yelled.
"Unlike this example, I assume." Todoroki replied in his monotone voice. Kacchan growled and stomped to his desk, "you just wait and see!" He yelled once again, then plopped in his chair. I couldn't help but laugh quietly to myself.
Throughout class, I noticed Kacchan wasn't paying attention much. He was just scribbling things down in his notebook. He probably trying to come up with a plan to prove Todoroki wrong.
After another long day, everyone packed up their things and ran out the classroom as if they all had some where to go. Maybe they did.
I decided to take my time walking, there's no reason for me to rush. As I strolled through the halls, I noticed Kacchan walking at the same pace behind me. I smiled.
"Hey, idiot." He called. I looked behind me. Once again, he had an indescribable expression. But it was different this time.
"Fine." He said, I tilted my head in confusion.
"I'll study with you."

Am I imagining this?

"Really?" I felt my face light up.
"I thought you might be a bit useful since you can easily clear your head and think of a plan when you really need to..." he explained.
Wait... did he just complement me? But I thought I did something wrong the last time we talked. We both stood there in silence.
"Are you gonna say something or not?" He asked angrily. "Ah! Sorry! Thank you- um I mean, sounds good!" I stuttered.
"Okay, lets go." He continued walking.
"Where?"
"To my house."

The walk to his house was quiet. I didn't know what to say. All my thoughts were racing through my head.
What just happened? Doesn't he hate me? Why is he letting me go to his house? Why did he change his mind? Does he want to be my friend too? Probably not. Let's not get my hopes up. He just needs some help calming himself.
We entered his room and it was pretty much how I imagined it. It was plain. He had the occasional poster on his white walls, along with his black linens and curtains. But it still had an overwhelming vibe. The same intimidating aura he gives off. Even if it's just his room, I feel like I've seen something personal about Kacchan. I felt my face beginning to redden. This is the first time I ever studied with someone...
We spent some time going over the material for the written portion of the test. Kacchan's personality didn't change much. He got angry and insulted me if I didn't understand something, but he did take the time to carefully explain it to me. It made me really happy.
The room was silent for a bit. I noticed an expression on Kacchan I've never seen before. Or maybe I've just never noticed it. He was so focused. I watched his eyes scan the pages. He slightly parted his lips, showing a bit of his teeth. He ran his thumb along the side of his page, playing with the edge of the paper. He didn't show him an ounce of irritation in his expression. It was strange to see such a relaxed look on his face. I couldn't help but stare.
He looked up. Our eyes met. He stared back at me for a moment. Then he looked away and smirked. I felt my heart drop. I broke the silence. "So... I was thinking, Todoroki probably had that opinion about you because of how you acted during All Might's hero/villain practice...."
"You mean when I tried to beat the shit outta you?"
"Yeah..." I mumbled. "You completely disregarded the task at hand and put your focus on the opportunity to... beat the shit outta me."
"Well, I've already learned from that stupid mistake."
We spent the next few moments talking about techniques for the test. We actually had a calm conversation this time. He was acting differently from how he normally does. I guess we are making progress with the friendship thing.

"I'm gonna get something to drink. Do you want anything?" Kacchan stood up and began walking to the door.
"Um... some water I guess." He nodded and walked out the room.
I laid down, pressing my back against the floor. I've been so tired lately. I can't help but close my eyes every now and then...

~Katsuki's POV~

I opened the fridge and scanned its contents. I grabbed two bottles of water and turned to head towards my room. I stopped mid step.
Should I grab a snack or something? It's been a while since I've invited anyone over... I don't even think I have any snacks.
I searched the kitchen for anything that would seem appropriate to eat during a study session. But... I eventually gave up. I sighed and continued walking to my room.
"Sorry that I took long, I was looking for-..." I cut myself off when I saw Deku napping on my floor. He was breathing softly through his mouth. His left hand was resting on his chest, while his right was on the floor beside to his head. He had taken off his stupid tie and left it on the ground next to him. His messy hair partially covering his face. He rolled up his sleeves showing his arms. He seemed so innocent and naive. To put himself in such a position with a person that has the tendency to hurt him. But ever since he told me those words, I've noticed I can't help but treat him gently. Like a fragile piece of glass in the palm of my hand.
I sat down next to him. I examined the scars on his right hand. I softly trialed my fingers along them. His skin as soft as you would imagine it to be. I moved my fingers further up his arm, tracing its contours. I found myself hovering over him. He shuffled under me. I moved closer, allowing my breath hit his neck. He hummed, making me continued. I pressed my lips against his skin. I made sure to leave a mark. Deku's breaths got deeper.
I lifted myself off of him. I grabbed his shoulder and shook him gently.
"Hey, Deku. Wake up, you idiot." He slowly opened his eyes. His face reddened. "Ah! I'm so s-sorry! I just w-wanted to close my eyes for a bit...." he stuttered. I sighed, "if you're tired, you can go."
"N-no I'm fine!"
I raised my eyebrow.
"Okay... um I'll see you tomorrow then." He got up and gathered his things. I walked him to the door and watched him as he left.
