It's Gotta Be You

We sat down on the couches for our interview, and my first one ever. To make it even better, I was sitting in between Liam and Niall.

I was so nervous about this interview, because I was introducing myself to everyone in Nevada. 

Niall rested his hand on my thigh "You okay?"

I saw Liam looking at me from the corner of my eye and I just nodded "Yeah, great"

The interviewer Sidney sat down in the chair opposite of us smiling "Before the show starts, just wanted to say that I'm a huge fan"  

The boys smiled back.

"Well we love meeting fans" Zayn said, smiling. 

The camera man told her it was about to start and a red light went on. 

We all smiled at the camera.

I stared at the audience, they were just watching with wide eyes. 

"We're here with the one and only One Direction and the lovely Gracie Dixon, who will be opening them on their North America tour" Sidney said smiling. 

The audience clapped and cheered for the boys. 

"Now you've just recently started your tour, how is it so far?" she asked. 

"Well it's been a blast so far, just performing and traveling with great people" Harry said, smiling. 

"And Gracie how is it to be touring with the band?" she asked. 

I sighed "It's amazing. It really is. I mean I'm already close with them, and they don't treat me any different just cause I'm a girl, which can be both good and bad" 

The audience laughed 

"Yeah five boys and one girl. Does it get a little hectic on the tour bus?" she asked. 

I nodded, immediately "Yeah, I'm a very private person, so to be sharing a bus with five boys" I said making 'boys' louder "It's annoying at some times, but I love these guys. They're definitely some of my best friends now" 

"Well how do you feel about her boys?" Sidney asked 

"She's a blast" Niall said  "We love her to death, she's extremely talented and we love that we've got the opportunity to perform with her" 

"Awe, shucks" I said, hugging him. 

"Yeah, she's like my little sister so it's fun to be the protective brother while also teasing her in the process" Louis said, leaning over and pinching my cheek. 

Sidney laughed.

"She's just amazing" Liam said, looking at me 

"Yeah she's like the mother of the group, while also being a jokester and just pulling jokes with the rest of us" Zayn said. 

"We're glad to get the opportunity to travel with her" Harry said.

 I smiled "Thanks guys" 

"Have any pranks taken place on the tour so far?" she asked. 

We all laughed 

"Well there was this one time when we convinced the driver to leave Liam behind and he was chasing us and screaming and Harry poked his head out from one of the windows and said 'sorry no fans are allowed on the bus' it was hilarious" Louis said. 

We all laughed, besides Liam. 

"That was a prank? I thought you all actually thought I was a fan" he said, crossing his arms 

"Awe, Daddy Direction is all flustered now" Zayn said pinching his cheek. 

Liam swatted him away, while the audience laughed. 

"Now who's all single and in a relationship?" Sidney asked 

"Lets just go down the row. 

"Single, but hopefully not for long" Harry said, winking at the camera. 

"I am in a relationship" Louis said, smiling just thinking about Eleanor. They're so cute together! 

"I'm single" Niall said. 

"Um I'm single I guess" I said. 

"You guess?" Sidney asked. 

"Well I guess you could say there is someone, but nothing has happened" I said. 

"What about you two?" she asked Zayn and Liam. 

"Single" Zayn said. 

I sighed, waiting for Liam to remind me that he was dating someone. 

"I'm uh I'm single" Liam said. 

The boys and I shot him a confused look. 

"What?" Harry asked. 

"I was in a relationship, but now I'm not" Liam said, not even looking sad. 

"That's a shame" Sidney said. 

Great, now there was nothing getting in the way. Even worse, I was the reason behind it. 

"So Gracie any word on the upcoming album?" she asked. 

I nodded "I recently finished it up, so it's up to management and my producer as to when it's released, but I think it will definitely be out this year" I said, smiling. 

"That's good and is there any plans of releasing a single?" she asked. 

I shook my head "Not currently"  

"What about you boys, any singles coming out?"  

"No, but we have been working on some new music" Zayn said. 

"Which we can't wait to hear" Sidney said. 

The audience cheered.

Twenty minutes later the interview was over and we were in an SUV, heading back to the hotel. 

"Why didn't you tell us?" Zayn asked Liam. 

"Because I didn't think it mattered" he muttered 

"You've been with Danielle since the X-Factor, of course it matters" Harry said. 

"Yeah, what happened?" Niall asked. 

Me, I wanted to say. 

Liam just glanced at me "We just broke up" he said. 

Louis noticed it was bothering me, and nudged me, and sent me a reassuring smile. I mouthed 'thanks' to him and he sat back. 

"Well I'm sorry" Niall said. 

If only he knew. 

"Who broke up with who?" Louis asked, with a little sass in his tone. 

"I brought it up, but it was a mutual decision" Liam said "Can we drop it now?" 

I looked out the window. I was the reason for the breakup and only Louis, Liam, and I knew. 

Everyone else was pretty much oblivious to the facts shooting them straight in the face. 

Niall put his hand on mine "You okay?" he asked. 

No! Everything is not okay. I'm so lost and confused that I can't even think straight! I can't tell you though, cause it'll just start a whole new problem that no one needs to worry about. 

Louis shoot me a concerned look. 

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just tired that's all" I said. 

"Well my shoulders a great pillow remember?" he said, grinning. 

I smiled and rested my head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around me, pulling me closer. 

I closed my eyes, hoping that I could fall asleep and not have to focus on the whole Liam/Niall issue.
