Song - For You - Rita Ora

Recap:

"It turns out that Hecate and Hermes have been fooling around behind everyone's back." Dionysus said, dryly. He was as uninterested in the drama that was taking place as ever, but he was annoyed that it had ruined his favourite time of all times. When people brought out the alcohol and decided to have a few drinks.

"What? Is this true?" Zeus turned to Hermes immediately who nodded forlorn. Hecate managed to pull her arm out of Aphrodite's hold, and she threw a curse at Zeus, who absorbed it into his staff. He clenched and unclenched his fists.

"Run, Hermes. Get out of here!" Hecate got out before the others were upon her, forcing her out of the room. "HERMES!" She screamed, kicked and screamed some more. Hermes attempted to leave but the power that Zeus expelled from his mightiness caused all the doors to slam shut.

Chapter Thirteen: In Troy We Trust

On the other side of the river, a pink haired vampire slumped against the wall of a closed café, her shoulders drooping in tiredness. Two other vampires stood by the counter, one of them surreptitiously glancing towards the windows paranoia clouding his judgement, and the other repetitively punched a young girl with glowing amber eyes in the face again and again. The candy-pink haired vampire was too weary to interrupt, and her stomach rumbled, so she slipped into the kitchen in the back. Her senses drank in the salty smell of blood; a human body was being bled dry by a hungry third vampire. As she walked over, she swung her hips seductively, it came naturally to her, and she didn't need any R&B song playing in the background to give her the perfect air of confidence or a rhythm.

The other vampire looked up from feeding, his tan skin returning with a glossy pallor and he smiled toothily at her, his fangs dripping in blood. Thick viscous blood dribbled down his chin mixed in with saliva – a gloopy mixture which somewhat turned her on. Padding forwards, her pupils dilated, her fangs piercing comfortably into the sensitive skin of her lips, she extended her tongue to the rapidly dying human's arm and drank in the much needed vitamins that only her race gained from their veins. After feeding, both of the vampires leant back with a long sigh, they were well replenished and neither of them cared for how messy they both looked. They turned to each other and licked the blood off of each other's faces, clothes and necks.

"There's blood in your hair, Candy, what we tell the others, huh?" The male vampire smirked and ran a tongue over his fangs as they withdrew into his gums. His teeth were stained with the ichor of the fallen barista, and when he smirked he had a crazed glint in his eyes, as if he had drank the ichor of the gods and was running off the energy of the king of the world.

"We tell the others that we stop for a snack. The truth is de best way. I'll take the credit for Rowan's captive as usual and all will be well." The two vampires chuckled together, at some inside joke that they shared, and then they both shared an intimate look as Candy let out a soft growl. Her fangs started to recede into her gums, and her eyes met his lustfully.

"Do you know where we are going?"

"Roughly? Not really? Maybe? Shhh."

"Great."

"Shut up. If you want to take the lead you can."

"I don't see how we are going to be able to find it-"

"Shut the pickle up."

"No, I am not a pickle; I am a smart and intelligent beansprout of a vampire."

"Seriously, I mean it, I think I saw something."

"Was it your brain? You know, because you always ask stupid questions and make annoyingly dumb comments." Hector slapped Bobby around the back of the head and then turned the corner, breathing a sigh of relief when he realised that what he saw was just the feet of a homeless person sleeping behind the bins. Elyssa turned to the bickering pair and rolled her eyes, walking ahead – as she stepped over the legs of the homeless person, who she presumed was sleeping; she saw something that caught her eye.
