After lunch, I spent more time pondering the message Kiera had given me, but I decided that I would keep an eye out for anything around that time. Everyone sat and played cards in the circle, because when it came down to it, we were out of basic goals. We had a decent supply of food, and a steady supply of water. It wasn't the most comfortable place in the world to live, but we weren't sure what to do next.

We were planning to start expanding out of the gym, but it would be dangerous and require a lot of resources with all of the big windows. Carmen had suggested that we get a name and logo, but no one had any ideas. We were at a standstill.

Will had started tallying the walls for everyday we had been down here, but aside from that, not much was happening. Everyone was excited and felt safer now that the 'traitor' was gone, so it was more of a celebratory mood.

I decided that as much as I hated doing it, I needed to tell Jason what exactly I had done with Carmen and the message Kiera had given me. I snuck away from the group and slipped into Jason's tent without saying anything.

For once, Jason wasn't there, but I did see something strange all over his mat. There were bags full of crushed up green plants, and it gave off a revolting smell. For a minute I couldn't place what it was, but then I realized. Jason had weed, and a large quantity of it.

I remembered how strange he was acting at his house, and his insistence to go with... it was to get drugs, must have ran out of whatever he had on him. As awful as it was, I could easily believe it. It was right up with his character, and the fact I hadn't realized it before was sad.

I wasn't sure if I should just leave him be, if I should say something to him, or if I should destroy it myself. I stared at the drugs for a long while trying think, but I never got the opportunity to decide, because Jason returned.

"What the hell are you doing in here?" He roared at me, but he knew it was too late and I had seen his stash. "I thought we went over you barging in last time." There was no sarcasm in his voice, this was pure anger.

"I'm sorry I came in to talk to you..." I mumbled, ashamed that I had went into his tent without permission.

"Well start talking!" He shouted and sat down on his mat, still glaring at me. "It's about Carmen right?"

"Carmen and Kiera, but yeah pretty much. I don't think Carmen is the traitor, so she should be coming back this evening. I have until then to figure out the truth. Kiera also gave me a message. 6 o' clock was all it was, but I think we should keep our guards up around then."

Jason seemed to have calmed down. "Wait, wait, wait... Kiera... Did she say where she heard that from? Did she say anything else?"

I shook my head, "That was all there was to it. I don't know anything else about it. It definitely was weird though..."

"Did it ever cross your mind that she might be traitor?" Jason demanded, and I shook my head sheepishly. "Well it might be worth looking into now. That is really strange. Anyways, about what you saw..."

"Don't worry about it." I interrupted. "I won't say anything about it." He hesitated for a second, like there was something else he wanted to say, but he didn't he just nodded.

"Thanks, sweetheart." Jason smiled, picked up his book and started reading. I left his tent. Everyone was still playing cards, so I sat back and watched them for a while.

At one point, they made me join in and we had a fun afternoon, but they didn't know what I did. They didn't know that the traitor was likely still among them. It was hard to relax with that blatant fact in my mind.
