"The death of Calum Hood is the death that many fans were sitting on the edge of their seats waiting for." the woman pauses and looks down at her paper before continuing. "It was always in the back of everyone's minds once Michael Clifford announced his engagement to Maya Rose. His death was predicted by many, and many people, including his band mates, believe that it was the lack of belief and support in the bassist that really threw him over the edge." she clears her throat as a picture from the funeral comes up. It zoomed in on people crying and some people not crying, then it zoomed in on Calum himself, laying in his coffin with all his glory, finally looking at peace.
Back with the band, everyone tried to cut Michael a little bit of slack. They were all pissed and sad and confused all at once. They all wanted someone to blame for Calum's death, but alas found no one but Calum himself at blame. Michael was getting the blame from the fans and the whole world. He even blames himself. He knows Calum loved him, yet he went ahead and got married to someone else. The whole world was pissed at Michael Clifford.
Calum wasn't. When he was given the decision to go to heaven or stay on earth, he chose to stay on earth to help out the one he loves with all his heart. It rained for a straight week after the kiwi man died, it was as if the even god himself grieved his death. Michael panicked when Calum first showed up in his dreams. Calum had told Michael that he still loved him and that he should not blame himself for Calum's death. That he should find a girl and get married, or stay married since him and Maya were going through a divorce. So Michael did and lived the rest of his life with Calum on his shoulder, helping him through every bump in the road and having a little laugh on the way.
The End.
And that's what would happen, if I died.

Today is Michael's big day and I couldn't be dreading it more. He told me he asked Luke to be his best man because he knows I don't like it when people stare at me for long amounts of time even though they probably wouldn't be staring at me. I didn't want to stand up there anyway. If I broke down, everyone would see. I don't want to be the one to ruin his big day, him being now twenty and Maya nineteen. I still think they are too young.
Sitting in the front row, I watch as Maya walks down the isle, looking fucking beautiful as hell. Michael's lucky. But as they say their vows I can't help but notice how they don't really have many memories they share. They don't have any memories they mention, or any thing that's said that binds them together. Their relationship is based off of nothing, nothing at all. They look at each other with love, but not the same love you see with normal couples. They don't look happy.
And when the priest says;
"If anyone has anything to say, any question to this couple's love and endearment, speak now or forever hold your peace." he pauses and everyone is quiet as many people's gaze fall on me.
"I object." I whisper under my breath. I take a deeper breath, about to say it louder, when someone beats me to it.
"I object!"
