Ashton ended up having to go inside, and Vivian and I sat out by the fire together, cuddled up just like before.
"What time is it?" She asked quietly.
"It's..." I got out my phone. "It's 8:30."
"Wow, time went by really fast." She laughed.
"I told my mum I would be home by 11 at the latest."
"Well we still have a couple hours." She sat up, our faces inches apart.
"What do you want to do?" I asked, smirking.
"I don't know, maybe something like this..." She trailed off, pressing her lips to mine. She moved so that she was sitting sideways on my lap, her legs across the bench, taking up the rest of the space. Her phone buzzed in her pocket, and she pulled back, taking it out and checking who it was. It was Natalie.
'Dude! What happened with you and Care?' They called Carolyn 'Care' all the time.
"Should I tell her?" She looked up at me.
"Just tell her."
She explained part of what happened, then immediately got a FaceTime call from Natalie. Right when she said hello, we heard yelling. Vivian had the camera angled so that Natalie couldn't see me, but I could see her.
"What the hell? Why would she do that?"
"I know right!"
"Jesus, I love that girl, but he can be such a fucking bitch."
"Psh, I don't love her anymore. I don't even like her anymore. I want to kill the bitch."
She finished telling the story, and Natalie listened quietly.
"Oh my god, I'm not talking to her anymore. Nope. Does Amelia know?"
"I don't know, she might have told her."
"Of course, trying to get all of our friends together to make a little army so she could try to break you down. Damn, she is stupid." I bit my lip to stop from laughing, and Vivian giggled quietly. "What did you giggle at? Who's behind the camera? Oh my god, is it Luke?"
"Maybe." She giggled again, and I smiled widely at her.
"It is!" She yelled. I let a laugh slip out, and covered my mouth immediately. "Show yourself, human!"
"He isn't here!" Vivian yelled, smiling.
"I heard him laugh, Vivian."
"Fine." She turned the camera so Natalie could see me. We talked for a while, then Natalie had to go.
"Well, just us again." She sighed and set her phone on the bench.
"What time is it now?" I started to get out my phone, but Vivian stopped me.
"Its 9:30. I saw it." She smiled.
"An hour and a half," I thought of what we could do.
"Many things we can do with that much time..." She trailed her fingers over my chest, and my heart sped up a little.
"I don't know, Viv...." I chuckled nervously.
"What?" She asked innocently.
"Do you want to walk around the block?" I asked quickly, changing the subject.
"I kind of wanted to stay here." She pouted.
"Let's walk around the block." I tried getting her off of me.
"Stay." She rested her head against my chest, so I couldn't see her face.
"Fine, you don't want to get up and walk by yourself like a big girl..." I put one arm under her knees and the other around her waist, picking her up off of my lap and standing up myself, walking to the patio as she screamed at me to put her down. "Want to walk now?"
"No, I'm good." She smiled.
"Ugh. You just said you wanted down!" I groaned.
"Well now I don't." She reached forward, opening the door quickly before wrapping her arms around my neck, giggling and resting her head on my chest again.
"Mum!" She yelled as we approached the doorway to the living room. "Hemmo and I are going to walk around the block, okay?"
Her mum laughed at how we looked. "Okay, be back by 11."
"We will be." I smiled, walking out the front door. Vivian pressed a small kiss to my neck once the door shut. "What was that for?"
"I don't know." She said, sounding innocent again.
"Can I put you down now?" I laughed.
"Fine." She huffed as I set her on her feet.

Carolyn and Amelia were sitting at a different table when Natalie, Vivian, and I walked into third period that day.
"Okay, then. We're fine." Natalie smiled to us, and Vivian's grip on my hand tightened slightly. People around the classroom were looking at me like I was crazy, hanging out with Vivian Irwin and Natalie Jackson. I heard some people quietly laughing, and Vivian's grip tightened even more.
"Baby, calm down. I don't want you to break my hand." I chuckled quietly.
"I'm trying to calm down, Hemmo. It's hard." She whispered as we sat down.
"Look at me." I put our hands on top of the desk, getting her attention. "It's okay."
"No, it's not." She barely whispered, looking around the room.
"Yes, it is Viv." I smiled.
"They're looking at us weird." She took her bottom lip between her teeth, biting on the soft skin.
"We are weird." She smiled slightly. "See, I made you smile."
"That doesn't mean I'm calm." Her knee was bouncing up and down quickly.
I set my hand on her leg, stopping it from moving. "Do you want to ditch again?"
She smiled widely at me. "What about Natalie?"
"If Natalie's okay with being a third wheel, then she can come too." I smirked.
"Well then," She turned to Natalie, asking if she wanted to come. I guess she agreed, I wasn't paying attetion, but the next thing I knew, Vivian was asking to go to the bathroom.
I asked a minute later, telling Natalie to make an excuse in a minute. Right when I walked out of the classroom, I was slammed against the wall, a soft pair of lips pressed hard against mine.
