I am not an essay,
I am not a poem,
Nor a verse of the hymn,
Nor the sound that chimes.
I am not a story,
I am not a book,
Nor a line from a movie,
Nor song or with a duet.
I am just a thread of life,
I am just a ray of light,
I am just a presence of shadow,
Others believe in me more than I do.
I am a loud silence,
I am a lazy bird,
I am just a dewdrop,
which disappears as the day begins.
