In the Faculty room.

Takeda Sensei sat with his back leaning in his seat and sighed as he felt the impending doom slowly approach him. He could only look on at the sheets of paper in his hand with a horrified expression. He felt like dying right there and then just by looking at the idiot four's test scores. He didn't expect them to be this bad. It was so bad, he was utterly speechless.

'This is reality. I just need to accept it and think rationally.' he thought to himself, on the verge of praying. No, he was already praying, seeing as how both of his hands were currently tightly clasped together.

'Those kids have plenty of guts, so they'll be able to do this.' he thought, still trying to convince himself of the impossible. "They can do it if they try. They can do it if they try." Takeda kept on chanting like a mantra till he practically passed out before another teacher found him, his head lolled back against the seat's back rest.

"Takeda Sensei?!" She exclaimed, trying to shake him awake.

With the volleyball team.

The team were practicing at the foot of the hill that day and all they could do was stare at it with either fear or determination. Yamaguchi trying to push the feelings of immense nervousness down. Yui stood at the halfway point of the hill, waiting to take notes and time them, a timer and notebook in her hands.

"Here we are." Daichi said, hands gesturing to the mass of earth before them. "Karasuno's famous heartbreak hill." The way Daichi stood there with a grin and an evil glint in his eyes sent shivers down the teams' spines. 'Never anger the captain!' they all mentally noted fearfully.

"All right! Ten dashes uphill to the halfway mark! Two at a time." Daichi said, clapping his hands as he became the coach for the day since Ukai had to look after his shop that day.

"Ready..."

"Ready..."

"Tsukishima, faster. Ready..." Daichi shouted after him as Yui timed him and only sighed.

Clap

"Ready..."

Clap

"Ready..."

Kageyama and Hinata got ready at the foot of the hill as they prepared to run up it, both determined to go faster than the other.

Clap

They both took off at a fast pace, blasting off and fighting the strong winds hitting them. They were both too focused on beating the other that they accidentally passed the other members as they ran. Surpassing the mark and running off into the distance.

"Hey! Where are you guys going?!" Tanaka yelled after them. Yui shook her head and handed Nishinoya her stopwatch. "I'll go after them." She said before jogging off at a surprisingly fast speed.
