Seulgi ran down the hallway as fast as she could in her heels. This wasn't how it was supposed to be.
She'd never heard of a truly filthy male idol before, but he was for sure. She needed to get away from him, now, before he found her again.
On her way around the corner, she slid in her heels and pressed the elevator button rapidly, and looked behind her to make sure no one was coming, and when she heard the elevator doors slide open, she continued to watch behind her.
The elevator doors closed, and as she made her way up levels and levels of the building, she relaxed a bit, sliding down to the floor in the corner and taking a deep breath, then letting it all out. Her heart was racing so fast she could barely catch her breath.
But she did, and then she heard an old but familiar "Annyeonghaseyo."
She jumped, clutching her chest when she heard it, but breathed out when she saw who the harmless male was.
That smile made her melt inside.
Park Jimin, after so many years, had finally come to see her again. Well, coincidentally, but still.
"Jimin-ssi," she said, smiling and relieved, "Annyeonghaseyo. How are you? Oh, it's so good to see you," she rambled on, standing and throwing her arms around his and resting against him in an embrace.
When she rested her head against his broad chest, she could her his heart racing and feel him trembling. She immediately lifted her head.
She looked into his beautiful dark brown, crescent shaped eyes and thought. Could he possibly be nervous too?
No. That would be insane.
You're such a dumb dumb, Kang Seulgi.
It's been this many years and she was still expecting him to have feelings for her.
No.
She didn't think so.
But little did she know that all of those years, his love had only grown for her.
"Jimin-ssi! Are you alright? I saw you pass out on the stage," she said, her voice laced with concern.
"Yes, I'm alright. Thank you so much," he said, bowing twice and smiling.
"I —" they both started speaking at the same time, and then laughed.
"You go first," they both said.
Jimin laughed. "You," he insisted.
Seulgi smiled, thanking him. "Jimin, I know it's been forever, but..... I feel almost as if nothing has changed."
Jimin grinned, nodding. "Me too. I'm so glad you feel the same way."
"You do too?" she asked slowly, her heart racing again. She mustn't get her hopes up, though.
"Yes, I do, Seulgi-ah."
Her stomach dropped when he said her name.
His voice was like liquid honey just dripping with sweetness, his lips puffy and adorable and so kissable looking, his two front teeth crooked and the one chipped, but perfect. He was so perfect.
SM would kill her for thinking these things.
"Seulgi," Jimin started.
He said it again, omg.
He continued on, "I should'nt have ended it where we did those years ago. Where we were friends then just said our goodbyes and left to go to our own separate companies. And I'm so sorry I didn't try sooner. Or I didn't ask you —"
"Ask me what?" she asked, a nervous but excited feeling rising in her throat.
"Seulgi, I just have to say it. I've thought about you all of these years, and..... Kang Seulgi, I love you. I really do."
