A couple nights later, Irene called a little 'meeting' for all of them to come together and talk about something she claimed was very important.

The curious thing was that neither Suga or Jin had to attend.

Once they all arrived, Irene informed them, barely being able to say it without getting completely choked up, that they had to all go their separate ways. Jungkook and Yeri walked in last together, seeing everyone with tear-stained cheeks and heads down, making them confused. They asked what was going, and they told them.

Yeri ran back to the bathroom, slamming the door, and Jungkook followed her after to make sure she was fine. Seulgi sat there, trying with all her might not to burst out crying, biting her lip and holding back her tears, but it only lasted a minute or two before she finally let go and collapsed into Jimin's laugh, sobbing into his thigh where her forehead rested, shaking. He laid his hand on the small of her back, trying to comfort her, but he was near tears, too. It made it even worse that she was in the state she was.

He held her tight against him on the couch for the last hour they would be together, and they almost fell asleep there, Seulgi's arm wrapped around Jimin's shoulder and her face buried in his chest. He drifted off as more time passed, his cheek pressed against the top of her head, holding her. He had laid a blanket over the two of them, making it especially warm and comfortable for sleep.

Seulgi woke up slowly, sniffing and grabbing the fabric of Jimin's shirt where her hand had been resting against his chest. "Jimin," she said, more than just a trace of sadness in her voice.

He opened his eyes, still drowsy, and looked down at her, brushing her bangs apart and kissing her forehead softly. "It's okay. We'll be okay," he said, tearing up again. He sniffed and kissed the top of her head. "I love you."

A tear ran down his cheek, and he didn't even bother to brush it away. He just stared at the wall across from them, empty inside.
