"Jiminie, I'm taking the pregnancy test," Seulgi called out to the living room, and Jimin darted into the bathroom where she was.

"My heart is beating so fast," he said, putting a hand on his chest. "Okay, go ahead. I'm ready, I guess."

Seulgi followed the instructions on the box, took the test, and then they waited a second for the answer to show up. Her heart was racing, excited and anxious as she watched the markings show up on the instrument.

"Oh," Jimin let out a heavy sigh and looked at her, tears in his eyes.

Her heart sank.

He pulled her close to him and held her in his arms, hugging her tight and kissing her head over and over. "It's okay, aein. We can try again."

Seulgi sniffed, then let out a sob, wiping her cheek with the back of her hand. "Jimin, this is the second time now. I don't understand....."

"I know," he calmed her with a soft voice, smoothing her hair in the back. "It'll be alright. Maybe it'll just be harder for us —"

"But what if we can't have a baby at all?" she wailed.

Jimin inhaled, his breath hitching from trying not to cry. "We've only tried two times. We'll find a way, Seul."

"Jimin....." she pressed her face into Jimin's chest, burying it in his shirt.

"I know," he said, kissing the top of her head. He rubbed her back gently. Setting his chin on top of her head, he let out a heavy breath, blinking away tears. He had to have faith in this in order for Seulgi to have faith in it as well. They both wanted kids of their own so badly.

Jimin just prayed they could.

Jimin watched Seulgi as she put her fancy dangle earrings in and secured the backing on the second one, fixated on what she was doing in the mirror. He approached her and squeezed her shoulders, then wrapping his arms around her from behind.

"You are so beautiful, Seulgi-ah. Just look at yourself. Inside and out, you're astonishingly gorgeous."

Seulgi blushed, lying her hands over his where they were locked around her stomach. "I can't believe what an angel you are, my Mochi. Everything about you is gorgeous."

"What about when I grow angry?"

"You still are very cute. Not to say that I can't take you seriously when you're in a bad mood; not at all. You're just always so adorable, no mater what you do," she giggled, and he smiled, kissing her ear and then her cheek. She could feel his gentle breath on her skin in between kisses, sending chills down her spine. "I love you, Park Jimin."

"I love you, Park Seulgi. Now let's go, you hottie. We have reservations and we don't want to be late."

She laughed as he took her hand and they left, the flowing fabric of her dress billowing behind her as they playfully ran down the stairs and Jimin started the car. He insisted on giving her a couple slow kisses before they left, leaving her beaming, and once they got to the restaurant, she was still smiling thinking about how blessed she was to have a man like Park Jimin.

Once they arrived and went inside, they met the maknae couple at their reserved table for their double date that evening. They greeted each other and sat down, looking over the menus together.

Jungkook and Yeri were a perfect couple, yet funny together too. They were both goofy and would tease each other, even that night as they looked over the menus and were at a fancy restaurant, Jungkook dressed in a prim suit and bow tie and Yeri in a pretty lace dress.

"Give me that menu, Myemim," Jungkook snapped jokingly, snatching Yeri's menu away from her and holding it out of her reach as he looked it over.

"Yah! Excuse me, Mr," she said, lowering her face and tilting her head to be under his. He looked down at her, a small smile pulling at the corner of his lips. "Give that back to me or I will kick you."

Jungkook glared.

"Please?" she begged, batting her eyelashes.

"Yah, here you go," he gave in, handing it back to her. "But you have to share that with me. We don't have enough menus here for all four of us."

"Okay."

"Yerim, may I say something?"

Yeri nodded, reading their menu. "Go ahead, Kookie. Of course you can."

"Oh, thanks. Well, you have to look at me for this, though." Jungkook turned Yeri's chin so they made eye contact, and he smiled. "You're hella cute, nae jagiya. Are you aware of that? You know that, right?" he rephrased undoubtedly, staring at her.

Yeri grinned, giving in. "Yes."

He let go of her, smiling. "You know what I want to hear at this point. I want to hear you admit your adorable."

Seulgi laughed along with Yeri, Jimin smiling.

"Well he can get me to 'admit' that, but I can't get him to admit he has the most adorable squishy bunny cheeks ever and he's the cutest eater," Yeri giggled, and Jungkook smacked her arm lightly.

"Yah, stop it! If anything, I should be manly, not adorable. And bunny cheeks aren't manly."

"You make them manly, Sexy."

Jungkook's cheeks turned pink, and he covered his face with his hands, elbows on the table. "Why do you have to say those things? Bunny cheeks?" he laughed and took his hands down, setting them in his lap. "You're crazy."

The waitress came over and served them, and once Jimin and Jungkook started a wild conversation about their last encounter with a weird interviewer, all amped up, Seulgi laughed, reminding her husband, "Chimmy, don't speak with your mouth open."

"Oh, right," he said, nodding. He went back to talking to Jungkook about the crazy interviewer, waving his arms all around and using his hands animatedly to recap the experience and show what happened in full detail.

Seulgi decided this was her time to tell Yeri unnie what happened, while the guys weren't in on the conversation and it would be more awkward and there would be more pressure. With Yeri, it was easy sister-like talk, and she would understand.

"Yerim."

"Yah, unnie?" Yeri looked up from the menu, setting it down. "Is everything okay?"

"Yes, I suppose..... why?" Seulgi asked, afraid she was already catching on to what was coming next. Maybe she should change her tone to something a little more average; more peppy and hyped up like she normally was.

"You never use my full name like that. Well..... not really, at least."

"Oh, I'm sorry. No, I just have something to tell you." She gestured for her to lean in, and they both did so. "Yeri," she said, meeting eyes with her, "we've tried two times and I can't get pregnant still. I'm worried. And I'm really scared. What if Jimin and I won't be able to have a baby? Oh, gosh....."

Yeri took her hand, and laid it on top of Seulgi's, giving her a sympathetic pout. "Seulgi unnie, it'll be okay. Trust me. You'll have babies. It was meant to be. Maybe just not right this second, you know?"

Seulgi sat there for a moment, taking it all in. Her advice and words did make total sense.

"Thank you so much, Yeri. You're a sweetheart and so honest. I really respect that and will cherish it." Seulgi smiled, pulling away.

Love you, Yeri mouthed, smiling.

And Seulgi mouthed it right back, smiling too. She was so lucky to have her four unnies.

They never ceased to make her feel better, just like Jimin. They would be forever like him, which made her at peace inside and at ease.

All of the sudden she felt much more relaxed, like a weight was lifted off her shoulders.

It was meant to be. Maybe just not right this second.
