Chapter 6

~Brendon's POV~

When I got home from the hockey game, one thing was on my mind. Y/N. I really hoped I would get to see her again. I wanted to find out more about her. What her taste in music was, what she liked to do for fun, if she played any instruments. Just anything and everything about her.

If she came to the game next week, I would talk to her again. If everything goes well, I may end up giving her my number. But it depends if I see her, or if she even comes. Wait, why do I care so much? I just met her. She probably has a boyfriend anyways with how pretty she is. Oh well. We can still be friends. I guess that's better than nothing.

~Your POV~

"Y/N COME HERE!" Y/B/F/N yelled from across the room. "What? Is Fall Out Boy going on tour? Did the Twenty Øne Piløts hiatus end? Please tell me it ended!" "Umm none of those things.." "Noooo when will it ennndd?!" "Only Tyler and Josh know but the Tornados are playing against the Florida Hurricanes next week. It's another home game too. Wanna go?" "Sure. I hear the Hurricanes are good so It should be a great game if the Tornados play like they did yesterday." "Ok I'll get tickets close to our seats from yesterday." "Ok but let me pay for my ticket. I don't want you buying me everything." "Ok."

You bought the tickets and they were relatively close to your previous seats. "Ooouuu maybe Brendon will talk to you again!" Y/B/F/N said. "I doubt it. It was probably a one time thing." You reply shrugging. "You never know." "True but I'm not an interesting person." "You are too! Now what do you want to do today?" "Wanna go to the record store?" "YES!"

So you drove the short distance to the record store and walked inside. You automatically walked to the alternative section and started flipping through vinyls. You found a limited edition copy of Folie à Deux by Fall Out Boy and nearly screamed. "Y/B/F/N! I FOUND A LIMITED EDITION FOLIE À DEUX VINYL!" "REALLY?! NO WAY!" "YEAH! I'M BUYING IT!"

You both bought what you wanted and happily went back to your house. Y/B/F/N could only stay for a bit longer and then left. For the past couple of days, you haven't even thought about Derek even once. You were proud to say you had gotten over him and didn't have feelings for him anymore. Even if you dated for 3 years. I guess as he put it "your feelings for him depleted."

You just hung out in your house for the rest of the day. As time progressed, it became night time and you were exhausted. You laid down on your bed and wished that it was the weekend already instead of the start of the week. You eventually drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
